We are definitely living through scary times right now. Because not only that, but you have literally people making jokes about it. Now jokes are not always a bad thing, you can create sense of humor to relief stress or easily social interaction just as long as you don’t joke in a hateful or negative way. With the 2024 Elections, you either have funny jokes about the presidents acted in the debate to have the most dark humor jokes that should have NEVER said it out loud. The best example of a dark humor joke is with Jack Black’s Tenacious D Tour. They had plans to be on tour for the rest of 2024 and so on so forth, but then they immediately have to pause ALL future plans when Kyle Gass (one of the members of Tenacious D) about where when Kyle was about to make a birthday wish, he said, and I quote “Don’t miss Trump next time.” Look I am not into politics (and I am so glad that I am not), but to me that doesn’t sound like a voice of a civilian of the US, it sounded like a voice of a murderer/an assassin. I get that he hated Donald Trump, but that’s called life because there is at one point in life where there is that one specific person that we dislike, and I am not just talking about Donald Trump or Kamala Harris. That’s includes you reading this comment, me something that you know like family and/or friends, and everyone. It can be someone at school who is very annoying or someone from work who finds doesn’t agree with your actions or some famous celebrities, whatever it may be, you either need tolerance them or keep a distance from that person. Don’t let anyone change on who you are. You can be a better person than the person you hate. Above all, you should NEVER have a thought in your mind about wishing someone is dead because that’s what murderer and assassin does. What’s crazy about all of this is that (if you think about it) if you made a wish about that specific person from class was dead, you’ll be accused by everyone, but if you made that wish about wanting that specific presidential candidate dead, some people would be happy about it. Hopefully I am wrong about what I am about to say, but as it stands right now, it does look like we might have a World War 3. Pray that this never happens. My advice from me to you is to seek out God for redemption now before it’s too late because if it actually does happen, there is a very high chance that you’ll be killed.

I totally agree w your stance on child acting. I don't think children should be in that industry at ALL. Having to memorize lines and scenes, taking abuse from producers and directors on set, with little to no one sticking to for them, dealing with rigorous schedules and getting zero sleep. Why would any parent (especially after this documentary) want to put their kid into that? Great video btw!!!

Here’s four idea on what I think Sony should do. 1). The obvious. Sony gives the rights to Spider-Man back to Marvel 2). Rethink themselves. They need to take a step back and rethinking on what we the audience would really want to see. The best example is with Marvel Studios. The movies and series have been mostly mixed after Avengers Endgame (I would argue that it’s after Spider-Man No Way Home). With mixed ratings and not making enough profit at the box office, Marvel Studios decided to make fewer releases to decide on its future. It does show because having only one movie and two or three series. That includes Deadpool 3, Echo Series, Agatha Series, and possibly Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man animated series. If Sony wants to keep using the Spider-Man property while keeping the audience engaging, they should get rid of the idea of having Spider-Man characters getting their own movies. Instead, they can make movies about other Spider characters. 2099 Spider-Man, The Ghost Spider, Peni Parker, etc. If for some reason that they don’t want to do it, they can… 3). Make more animated movies and video games. At this point, Sony should stop making live action movies on Spider-Man characters, but instead make more animated movies or video games. It’s no surprise that Sony does a spectacular job on making animated movies and video games. Primarily with the Spider-Verse movies and the Insomniac games. They feature Spider-Man as the main character (whether if it’s Peter or Miles), great animation, good writing, the design of the suits (for the most part in the games), and most importantly IT MAKES MONEY WHILE ENTERTAINING THE AUDIENCE. And if Sony still needs more money (for some reason) then they can just… 4). Revive popular Spider-Man series. Reviving old series like X-Men series (now calling it X-Men 97) really does show that if done right, audiences will come back to watch because of the impact that it has. Even if you haven’t watched the X-Men series (like I have), you can still see the love and care that they put in when making it. With X-Men 97 being a massive hit, leads to open doors to new possibilities. In this case, however, Sony could include in their agreement to revive their Spider-Man series. They could revive Spider-Man The Animated Series (or Spider-Man 98), but what I really want to see is a revival of The Spectacular Spider-Man (or Spectacular Spider-Man 09). To me, Spectacular Spider-Man is the best Spider-Man series, but it was ashamed that they ended on a cliffhanger. There were plans for Season 3 and beyond by introducing villains like Carnage and Hobgoblin, but since Disney bought the rights to Marvel, they were cancelled. I feel like adding on to their agreement to revive old series is their golden opportunity to give Spectacular Spider-Man a better ending. They can do a season to wrap up everything or do what they were planning for Season 3 and beyond for us to continue on the journey of The Spectacular Spider-Man.

What worries me that this isn’t the only Sony Marvel movie for this year as we got Kraven The Hunter which it’ll be played by Arron Taylor Johnson (the same guy that played Quicksilver in the MCU) and Venom The Last Dance (a bad start of the movie given by the title of the movie). I am telling you right now, either of them are going to be good. They might be bad or worse than Madam Webb and Morbius. What’s better or worse, Sony wants to make Spider-Man 4 as a multiverse movie again while Marvel Studios wants to make it a street level. I think making it street level would be a nice change of pace since nobody knows that Peter Parker is Spider-Man.

This is the kind of video I've been looking for, everyone is quick to hate on this show and while you have a few criticisms, yourself and some that are debatable in their own right, they're laid out quickly and not the main focus of the video and I think you provided pretty good shutdowns of the surrounding critics, It's nice to have these kinds of videos defending the show, especially when every other video I find on the matter is mostly negative and driven to hating on the show for this and that, but you actively showed how it actually is pretty in line with the source material and how it works and that in spite of what some people are saying, it actually does have a good idea of what it's doing, even providing examples from the comics to drive it home. Thank you for this video. I just wish more people could be this kind of positive about the show.

Every single shot of the shark that was planned and story boarded was eventually shot. The choice of the barrels without seeing the shark was in the script and in the novel and used to heighten the suspense (Where is he?") it was not a result of the shark not working. The full reveal of the shark in the third act was also in the script. It wasn't because the shark did not work. Far too much is made of the shark not working and it being some kind of fluke the film turned out great. Every shot of the shark that was planned was filmed. The bulk of the huge delays was a result of boats on the horizon.

As an MCU fan, She-Hulk Series (despite having some good things about it) is not that great. Talking about positive things about the show, I do like the She-Hulk character, both episodes 1&8 are the best episodes that it offers, it’s great to see Abomination again, the Norton joke in episode 2 is genus, Madisynn is a hilarious bad character, the fourth wall break are unique, seeing bootleg versions of The Avengers in episode 5, a nice nod to The Incredible Hulk series in the finale, I now ship both She-Hulk and Daredevil & Wong and Madisynn, and most importantly it’s better than Eternals because at least I feel more about the characters from the show then almost every character in Eternals. Other than that, She-Hulk Series is the weakest Marvel Disney Plus series, I’ve ever seen. There’s barely any action scenes, tease a character (Daredevil) that everyone wants to see but have to wait two episodes to have that character show up (that’s something that the Hawkeye Series didn’t do), where it takes place in the timeline can be confusing, no mention of either General Ross nor Betty Ross (someone that we haven’t seen in live action since Incredible Hulk), was looking forward for a Hulk and Abomination rematch which they didn’t go forward with it, and the finale didn’t live up to the hype from the ending of the last episode because it is the most anticlimactic episode I’ve ever seen (even with its ultimate fourth wall break which they should’ve waited until Deadpool 3 in a situation like when the world is ending in the Fox universe, so he gets himself out of the Fox Studios and walks to the Walt Disney Studios and asks K.E.V.I.N. to be in the MCU). I feel like handle the real world problem better in WandaVision, Falcon and The Winter Soldier, & No Way Home. I understand that Marvel wants to try something different in which sometimes it’s not a bad idea. WandaVision is a great example. Another series that has mixed responses (mostly because some people are not into sitcom shows), but the one thing is certain is that each episode is a mystery. There are episodes where they intend to make us question about and interesting to know whether now or later they will answer them. Questions like: Why sitcoms shows? Why is there a heart on August 23rd calendar? Why does the Stark Industries toaster blinks red in a commercial? Did Wanda actually steal Vision’s body from S.W.O.R.D.? And did Marvel recast Quicksilver (something that Marvel has been doing)? It’s so fascinating getting to know each and every answer to the questions, and it’s sad to see Wanda at her lowest point than what she already has and which, in my opinion, makes one of the reasons why her antihero role in Doctor Strange Multiverse of Madness more believable. The more that we see Intelligencia’s plan to steal She-Hulk’s blood (a plan that should’ve been planned by The Leader from Incredible Hulk but is not), the more that it wants to drop that because She-Hulk is lonely, or she has to go to her friend (who is an awful character)‘s wedding, dates a random guy name Josh (who is obviously working for Intelligencia), and go for most of the episode finding reception on her phone. In addition, besides episodes 1,4,& 8, the courtroom scenes are not good which is ironic considering the fact that the writers themselves never do courtroom scenes before (which they could’ve gotten someone who has experience with courtroom scenes). I do want to see She-Hulk again in future Marvel projects because again she’s not a character (and again better than the characters from Eternals), but I don’t want to see a Season 2. There are other shows that deserves it more like Falcon and The Winter Soldier (or Captain America and The Winter Soldier), Hawkeye, & Ms.Marvel. If, however, they do release She-Hulk Season 2, I will watch it (just like with every MCU movies, Disney Plus series, & Special Presentations) and fingers crossed that it will be better than Season 1.

On Jen's personality and fidelity to the comics: A lot of those criticisms are made in bad faith and/or are misinformed mostly due to the critics not having read She Hulk comics and just parroting what they have seen online or the criticisms are from people who have read one run and interpreted that and how they read her characterisation as the entirety of the character. This is to say to some extent it's fair to filter out these types of responses. With that said as someone who has read all of her runs I think Jen's characterization in this show is off. I kind of agree her personality is in line with Dan Slott's run for her Jen persona (slightly immature, mousy and goofy really "omg" kinda person) and her She Hulk persona is more in line with her Sensational version (kinda cool, exasperated, sexy, witty). Those traits can exist in anyone though and the writers added some embellishments to those existing traits and divorced her from her core comic traits that ends up making Jen feel off. Obviously the most obvious trait associated with She Hulk is that Jen prefers to be She Hulk in the comics and it's a very profound part of her development. Legitimately the single most important part of her development comparable to Peter Parker's take on responsibility. It's when the character stops simply being someone with powers and becomes that specific character so even if they didn't have the power you'd recognise them. Having Jen start off not liking She Hulk is fine and a good place to start the story. Having Jen admit at a key turning point to feeling insecure because of She Hulk instead of empowered and then resolving her arc as She Hulk being a part of her but Jen is the real important part is counter to the comics. Then there is the difference in context in the MCU compared to the comics that means other traits of Jen's get diluted or lost. The first thing established about comic Jen is the depth of the bond between her and Bruce to the point he came to her for legal help with the Hulk's crimes and admitted he was the Hulk without much prompting. This fugitive loner had no issues telling his cousin about his deepest issues and trusted her to help. While it's arguably just a convenient way to introduce this character and establish a connection to Banner for the purposes of explaining her powers, later writers continue to refine and expand on this bond. Their relationship is so precious and one of the few consistent good things Banner has in his life. Jen often laments her cousin's situation while her life is going really well and it reveals a deep compassion and an uncommon kindness. So MCU Hulk is a beloved celebrity so Jen isn't one of his only good connections. The world isn't against him so she can't be one of his saving graces. Furthermore his mother (Rebecca Banner) seems to be alive in the MCU as a Rebecca is present at both family gatherings in She Hulk so it's dubious if MCU Bruce went through the same trauma as comic Bruce. So now Jen has nothing to be understanding about, not his abuse from his father, not the murder of her aunt by said father and not even the years of trauma associated with his time as the Hulk. So that trait of unrelenting kindness and displays of unwavering support do not have an excuse to reveal themselves. Jen also isn't a superhero which is another area which reveals her care but also her directness, self sacrifice, fun loving nature and badassery. Jen in this show rejects superheroics proper until episode 8 so we again miss out on seeing how she is really a superhero's superhero. In contrast to her cousin she has eagerly joined many teams and is beloved in the superhero community having posirive ties to every major area of the marvel universe. Obviously that was the point of the show that she didn't want to be a superhero, okay then show her representing a helpless person against a big corporation or go more into her sense of morality and not just relegate it a conversation she has in episode 8 with Daredevil. Anyway this has gone long enough. I don't know if you'll read it so I'll just say great video. I enjoy the show enough and find it to be quite rewatchable. This specific point though, Jen's character compared to her comic counterpart, is my biggest issue with the show. Speaking as a She Hulk fan.

My favorite movie of all time also. To me, the best movie of all time. I LOVE THIS MOVIE. First saw December 1975 in mall movie theater, was so dizzy from tension, had to walk around the mall. I have seen this movie like over 40 times. I own all editions of this movie: first CLV laserdisc, then CAV laserdisc, then 2 or 3 dvds (one was special edition, another collectors edition, one regular dvd), then bluray (with booklet)), and now 4K with ATMOS sound bluray with booklet. I used to swim way the hell out until people on shore were tiny small dots, could hardly see them, swam out that far for 3 years in a row, 3 summers, from age 11 or 12, until almost 15, after seeing the movie, no more swimming.... only in a pool.
