Are coral beauty angel fish less aggressive than the cherub pygmy angel?

I have had 2 in the 15 years in the hobby both have been model citizens. They are very shy and like to hide. They both stayed small. The one I have is currently 7 yrs old. Now my mellanars wrase is an ass hole he makes a mess and gets sand all over my corals. He is also a food hog he can't eat enough

I have a purple dottyback and is aggresive towards my two pijama cardinals that are already in the tank he is niping their tails fins off; as sson as you see these species bully behaviour separate all of them

Have you ever had a six line I’m the same tank with a royal gramma? I have just added a six line to my 35 gallon refer tank which had a royal gramma in it prior to the addition of the wrasse. Now my wrasse seems to want to the hole my gramma had been occupying for the last several months. My wrasse and my female clown seem to be fast friends

This is great information. I just started a 55 gallon mixed reef tank and I let my daughters pick out their fish. My middle daughter had the clownfish category lol and she picked the orange skunk clownfish. You also have me considering grabbing another clown fish of a different breed. As you stated, as long as the each have their own anemone, they should be content. Good vid!

My neon dottyback absolutely destroyed my 6 line wrasse's fins. I had to move my wrasse into my ruby red dragonet and mandarin dragonet tank due to the emergency.. I hope and pray the wrasse won't out compete for their pods

Lol I added a frag close to where my dottyback lived and every morning I had to glue the frag back on. I sat and watched my tank one night and sure enough the dotty was the one pulling the frag off the rock. They don't like change lol

Im from south Australia and i actually catch these guys for fun on rod and reel. ( catch and release of course) gorgeous fish but very very aggressive towards other gobys 😂

I dont know if you fish is stressed but the crazy swimming back and forth seems not typical from what I have read . I read they hide a lot and dont swim out in the open much and you sad the one at you lfs was doing that as well. Does this fish always swim like that? Only time any of my fish didi that was when the heater malfunctioned and it got up yo almost 90 degress. It was the second day i had the fish so I wasnt sure of his personality. He was my first fish in there too. I got the temp up pretty quickly and he never did it again. Of corse I threw the heater out and it was a cobalt too!

Awesome vide! So I've had an exquisite firefish goby for three years and his tank mates were a maroon clownfish pair and a Three stripe damselfish pair with no issues, recently my goby passed away so I've been leaning towards getting a 6 line wrasse because they are a little bit more on the aggressive side because I am afraid of my 3 stripes being extremely aggressive to a new fish
