+Frank Castle While Chris is known to stretch the truth a little in his use of camera tricks, this illusion did not require Oprah to cooperate. It was developed by a popular illusionist named Zimmerman back in the 1970s.

He didn't, Frank. It's a magic trick. Things are not always what they appear to be. I've invented many such tricks myself, some of which have been performed on national television. As noted, Chris is infamous for using camera tricks, while claiming not to, but this isn't one of them, and Oprah was not "in on it," either. I can tell you exactly how the trick was done. It sells for about $5,000.00 (US). If you are willing to pay the fee, I will deliver the trick to you.

You can buy this trick for $3,000. The audience really can say whatever name they want, and Oprah's word really was random. Since people can't figure out how it works, they like to say it's "set up".

Malloy sells this effect on his website, you may have also seen Collins Key on AMGT perform this effect last year. The illusion is amazing but requires hired help backstage (so to speak)
