Thank you for these ideas…definitely some useful temporary and permanent solutions….especially stuffing something inside the hole to prevent down loss. I also favour a logo patch to give a more finished look.

Omg, you saved my $400 Lululemon Wunder puff jacket. After washing with a cold temperature in a washer using a normal detergent, I saw clumps all over and went into panicky mode but I followed your instructions thoroughly and used one plastic ball and my towel to keep it moving using a Less dry, extra low temperature in a dryer for two hours and my jacket is as good as new. But I just cannot get the lipstick stain out and I will not bother washing it again this soon. However, if you have any tips for removing a makeup stain on a down jacket, please let me know. You are awesome. ❤ I wear red lipstick and get it all over my clothes. Makeup girlies will be appreciative of you.

My 400 Lululemon jacket that I bought turned into clumps! 😢😢 I just put one plastic ball. Don't have three.

If I don't have a tumble dryer, do I need to take washed jacket to launderette? Only service washed, therefore, no control over time or temp. Is there way to deal with clumps without using tumble dryer?

I'm a fan of Osprey but those carriers are a huge disappointment. For a 6mo old it does the job pretty well and it might be the best to secure the tiny body and keep it stable on the downhills. However, already an average 1.5-2y old is a huge struggle to fit in. Take bigger boots and you need to take them off everytime the kid goes in and out - very fun in winter as you can imagine. 24 months+ with average height already barely fits under the sun cover with the seat at minimum height. The leg loops are also at maximum and the shoulder straps become tight in a jacket. Osprey could easily add longer straps too all those... but didn't and yet they claim it's until 18kg?! There is tons of packing space, great, but guess what? There isn't any accessible pocket to put a phone! It won't fit in neither of the hip pockets and the mesh ones are very insecure, plus they vanish when you fold the bottom. The red outside buckles are so hard to clip that it's best to do it in 2 people, and it's barely makes it smaller anyway. The carrying system is ok, but the adjustment system causes a pressure point on my back. I've tested friend's Deuter recently and it was both more comfortable to wear and easier to use. I have 3 other Osprey bags, but I'll rethink my brand choice after this one. Truly terrible design.

Hi, just wondering how to get rid of the down jacket smell ? Does the Grangers Down wash work ? I wanted to check if that's the best option or if you'd recommend another detergent for getting rid of the odor.

Thank you for demonstrating the straw adjustment. I don’t find it intuitive and I’ve been afraid to cut too much. I realize that they provide a measuring thing on the cardboard on which the straws and lid come on, but Hydro Flask should also have a dedicated video short for these instructions for silly people like me - which they don’t seem to have that right now. Thanks again - yours was also the only one that I could find on this specific procedure.

Thank you! The label said machine wash & I did with trepidation. As you said, thought I had ruined the jacket. Put it in the dryer on low heat & it still had some lumps even after two hours! Maybe I should have dried it a little longer. Now I have to wash a dirty down throw blanket (twin size). I suppose this method will work for that also? I'd like to find that down washer kit. I just put a towel in with the jacket I washed to keep it balanced (top loader).

I washed according to instructions. They called for an extra spin. I did that and found that it didn't spin all water out and so jacket was soaked in water for a time. I then dried it and it looks good but maybe not as bulky. Did this ruin my jacket?
@LittleAdventureShopАй бұрын
Hi, sounds like you did fine. I don't think leaving it in the water for a while would have done any damage. If the fill isn't 100% where you want it keep shaking the jacket out and you may find there is still a bit more drying out to be done.

Hello , I have a Deuter Starlight pro and I know that it does not have an official temperature rating but still , is it possible to give a rough number to it? the reason i ask is, this will help my decision of buying another sleeping bag (which is lighter) but still have the insulation equivalent to the deuter starlight pro.
@LittleAdventureShop2 ай бұрын
Hi, we would rate this sleeping bag as a solid 3 season bag for UK conditions. As you know Deuter don't give a temp range for their kids' bags. There's another sleeping bag we stock which is not as good quality as the Deuter and this bag is given a temp range (which should not be taken to literally but gives you an idea) Max +20 to min (comfort level) +4 Celsius. Hope this helps.

@@ChamMoradi Hi, thanks for your feedback. I'm not sure the airline would accept this as cabin luggage if you didn't have a child with you, I suspect it would have to go in the hold... worth checking with the airline.
@ChamMoradi2 ай бұрын
@@LittleAdventureShop thanks for the reply, yeah it was way above their allowed dimensions (Norwegian, I think it is the case for all known airlines). I ended up buying Poco LT (thanks for the review on this too!), seems like it serves the purpose while can be taken to the cabin without child being around (hopefully)
