Hi Yvonne, they move fish out into another cage, and take dirty net to land to clean it. They clean dirty net by drying it under the sun, and then, spray with high pressure water.

There is aquaculture net cleaner device available in the market. You could have a look on this too.

We are working with academic institution to get datas on how effective the IMTA systems are, in term of: cage culture itself, and effect on the surrounding environments.
