Had any problems with stripping the rear diff? I've gone through a couple. I have now shimmed them and no problems on 3s

@@S5UPERCHARGED I haven’t had any issues with either one of them except dog bones in the past but now I have aluminum ones for both and there running strong now

Make sure you change out the pinion and sour to a hardened steel heat treated! I broke both sets that come with the car in minutes! Disappointed in Traxxas selling these trucks with those gears for the money the sell them for

Actually it is! I took it out for 1 mins last week and the spur and pinion ⚙️ shredded right out the box 📦 crazy! Very disappointed in Traxxas

@philthyrc2748 that's crazy parts are not cheap for that. The screws must have been loose on the motor. Good luck 👍

Grub screw was loose and to top it off in the box comes another spur and pinion, the spur was a 54 but the pinion was a 17… it’s supposed to be a 18! There’s no pin hole for a 17/54! 🤦🏻‍♂️

@@philthyrc2748 yes that blue & red body looks better than the ultimate body So is there any other changes besides the belted tires?

Whatever was changed for the ultimate besides the aluminum upgrades! And also has the wheelie bar! The body is why I went with this one over the ultimate! And I’m going to upgrade it of course

@@Goocheit has smaller gearing I’ve noticed instead of the 18/54 that the normal x maxx comes with this one comes with 15/54 maybe cause of tire change not sure though also not sure if this is a change from the old x maxx cause this is my first ever x maxx but on the motor where the pinion is there’s a small thing in front of the pinion that makes it not slide off so yeah I changed my gears out to a steel spur and pinion now I’m running 17/50 haven’t tested it yet though
