Bill from mastodon got me into turnstile, he mentioned he was really inspired by this album. It really is a banger, blackout, fly again , Dont play are absolutely bangers ! Quicky becoming my most listened album of the year, even tho I only listened for first time 1 month ago 😅

One of my favourite repeat albums to this day. I hear a lot of Oasis and Liam Gallagher in this album.

Will you ever react to live from Bush Hall?? I know it's a live album but it's a just as phenomenal album as their other stuff even without Isaac pigs/turbines is one of my favourite songs ever

At first i only really liked new gold and silent running, but other than turantula, I really love all of the tracks 1 year later. Def a multiple listens album but its sooo worth it.

Crazy how he references three of the most heartbreaking songs on the first official full length track- “Billie eilish eyes”-good will hunting “A concord will fly”-Concorde “Ignore the hole I’ve dug again”-Haldern It’s like he was warning us of what he was going to tell us about, what he had been through.

You're absolutely right about how these tracks will grow on you. I had pretty much the same thoughts as you on first listen, but can confirm every single song has a very special place in my heart a year down the line. it takes time for you to understand what each track is trying to do and once you understand its incredible

I wonder if they maybe could have cut How Cold Love Is. It's just a fairly slow start overall, and imo that's definitely the weakest track. Can feel like a fairly drab first 5 songs on first listen, as Jackie is such a grower I also love the album to bits though
