I just learned of the existence of this play while looking for Hebrew posters (I know). How wonderful that anything of this amazing play still exists. Is there a text, a libretto, the sheet music? Can we revive the musical? My dad's got a barn! My mom can make the costumes!

Listening to this program was fantastically thought provoking. The connection between men’s creation and vilification of ‘Eve’ and the misogynistic punishment of women through allegations of witchcraft is high quality knowledge to have in one’s head. As is the embrace of such towards subversion. Thank you for putting these connections it in my head as being solidly connected. Before the 2020 US elections, I made voodoo doll’s out of large marshmallows; an orange one representing donald trump with Cheetos for hair and a bright red one for the abrahamic god among them. No magic but helpful for coping with the horrors of male, white and christian collective narcissisms. When those who were lost to such narcissisms engaged in abusive behaviors I would put a pin in one or more of their likenesses. It was also interesting how fearful others were about my having made voodoo dolls out of right wing authoritarians who engaged in abusive and oppressive behaviors.

Don’t forget to add that Nassy himself was a Carribean Jew ..

I am from Wales and have lived in Israel since 1965. I live in Kibbuts Geva which has the biggest library in the Kibbuts movement. There is a large collection of books on religion including books brought to Israel by young pioneers a hundred and two years ago. Geva was founded in 1921.,

Just wondering, if , according to Redcliffe Salaman, the Jewish race formed by 5 BC, how he would explain even wider variety in appearances later on. If he accepted that the Jews mixed with local tribes and ppls before 5BC, why he decided it stopped after. Today looking at the variety of ppl coming to Israel and claiming Jewishness we can see not just about Ashkenazim and Sephardic Jews but lots of other groups, which seems inherited many other features from other ethnic groups.

This makes me think of Focus on the Family Radio Theatre's the Hiding Place, which Philip Glassborow was involved in back in the 2000's (can't remember when in the 2000's but he was part of it). I hope Philip can put together more audio dramas that tell these stories, because it is an amazing way to tell these stories.
