This guy makes this look so easy but it is absolutely incredibly hard. Don't even attempt to do this without the tool he's using and just go ahead and assume it's going to be unbelievably frustrating to put this thing in. I think this guy is using a spring that is too small as well. When you use the exact replacement spring it is just God awfully horribly difficult to put this in. Edit- carefully carefully pay attention to exactly how this guy holds his fingers when installing this. You don't actually need that exact tool but you do need some sort of narrow tool that can leverage the circular part of the spring outward at an angle so that the end will clip in. Make sure to place your finger on the flat end where it's going to clip in while leveraging the circular part outward, as it wants to bend itself inward toward the well. Also the replacement stainless steel springs I got were 20 to 30% wider or thicker stainless steel than the factory ones, which would and does make it have more force. If this guy is using factory replacement springs then it would be easier to do. However once I carefully paid attention to exactly how he used his fingers then it was not very hard. One spring went in pretty easy and another was still difficult but I had a friend who help guide the last part in for me. It's all about technique with this. Thank you for the video

I lived on the Miami River in Miami Springs, south Florida in the early '60s, best part was almost no gators. They weren't protected yet. My friends and I loved swimming and fishing in the 'glades. In four years I saw only two wild ones, both about four feet long. Cute little guys....

Ya fascinating.. costs 700 in Australia.. so what lol are we all ignoring the fact that it looks the same and the pedals and drum shouldn't matter if the module fits in the kayak from both models... if it's the length of the rod in the center that's the issue just change that.. why u gotta disassemble everything?
@HookCircle7 ай бұрын
Uuuuu... for the reverse capability....

@HookCircle no ya that's what I'm saying is u want the reverse one.. take the pin/rod from the non reverse and put it in the reverse one

I have one of these lights and it works, but I would not do it in salt water due to sharks
@HookCircle7 ай бұрын
I've been using mine 100% in salt water for the past 3 years, so for it is holding up pretty well. It's all plastic and silicone, so not really an issue with salt.
