The immortality scene's lived in my head rent-free since when I first played this many years ago when I was 12. I remember jumping through hoops to try and get the moon water, and I was so excited to finally see what would happen... only to be horrified. I once knew someone with apeirophobia (fear of eternity) and she would get panic attacks if she started to think too much about the idea of immortality and being trapped in endless suffering. With this scene, I can honestly see why

Nice video, fun commentary xD These games are awesome though there are so complicated to run, either via emulation or not!! I'm thinking about making an emulator myself (using an existing base) to just play the system573 ones, mame is also a mess to work with.

windyfairy's mame fork can get you 90% of the way forward on emulating these games on 573, i'm not sure if the MSU box these games require to link ever got properly emulated either- that all being said, thank you for watching, i'm glad you enjoyed my delerious commentary.

unfortunately i have bad game stockholm syndrome so even being mindboggled to the state of rage i absolutely love this and cannot get enough of it every extra layer of confusion when working on these is another delerious laugh i get trying to piece together what on earth konami was doing when making this stuff in the first place

it's been a minute since i shot this video! i haven't had this lad powered up in a hot second either. some amount of RF conversion was necessary, once you use an RF modulator to take in composite/rca you can really go any sorts of degree from there with converter boxes on top of the pile.

DDR A on the 20th anniversary patch added in a small set of folders titled "DDR Selection", where a few songs from each generation were playable with a theme akin to the game selected. There was only one theme for each of the "generations", so you'd be playing 3rdMIX songs in the interface of 1st if you selected that folder.

Pressing start button on DDR Solo 2000 mid game swaps to downscroll. I wanted to have fun in between failing 20-30 credits on emulation to fish out all of the possible voice lines >.>

I was not the original source of this audio, just wanted to get it out there since it was sitting on my HDD. I'll keep it in mind if i ever come across a loose board as something to tinker around witin the future. I personally wonder if it shares overlap with any other ice game and sound effects from the era
