Those saying Congress should get term limits also ...that is a great idea but there is always a way you can get rid of a congressman...you can vote them out at the elections therefore terminating his position and giving it to someone new. The judges are appointment and not voted upon by the people therefore they do require a term limits this is why he is asking as the American people are asking for term limits on the judges.

Term limits for the Supreme Court with my reading and understanding of the Constitution would require a Constitutional Amendment. Now I would be in favor of such an Amendment. But we must not stop at the Supreme Court but also at the House and Senate as well.
