They are scales that sense weight, and bike don’t tend to weigh enough

hmm maybe they use different kinds, but i thought it was just a simple inductive loop, car is a hunk of metal that alters the inductance, thats why sometimes you see circles on the ground instead of squares, not sure but i know sometimes it does not detect my bike and i have to go on red lights if a car doesnt show up behind me.

Plus having to remove it to remove the tailgate. The OEM parts are about the same price (from autonation white bear lake) and aren't exposed like this one.
@MotoHerC6 жыл бұрын
Charles Crabtree oem is a little bit harder to install takes more time, gives that clean look.
@desibro086 жыл бұрын
Why is the aftermarket one so slow? Why would anyone want that?
@MotoHerC6 жыл бұрын
Shafi Subhan aftermarket is exposed it slows down with cold temperature, both these trucks didnt have the assist. I bought oem and aftermarket to see the difference. The OEM has that quick drop towards the end makes a loud thud before it opens, where the after market one comes down to a co trolled stop. It just a preferance i guess. Oem gives you that clean look where the shock is hidden vs aftermarket is visible, they both do a great job. And they are about the same price.

Sounds fine to me. That whirring sound I think you're talking about is normal I believe. I've heard that it is the cams spinning up but not entirely sure if that is correct. Either way I think your bike sounds great after the change, now i'm going to do my own.

I've done that, it was anti-karma for telling off some stupid cow in front of me for stopping at a green light, at the next set of lights in my rage I'm not paying attention I lock up the rear and skid through a red then do the walk back of shame. Points for not dropping it though.

i got the APE Manual CCT and just had it installed on my F4i, now it went from buzzing sound to a smooth whistling sound after the APE CCT is installed ... is there any problem if i just go with the way it is or i have to adjust it to prevent bigger future problems ?
@nate42579 жыл бұрын
were you able to adjust the cct without removing the air box and throttlebody or did you have to remove them to get in there? seems like their is no space to adjust it without removing them but then i cant have the bike on to test it while adjusting...FRUSTRATING
@nate42579 жыл бұрын
I got the ape cct in mine right now but now i need to adjust it, its whisling so its to tight but i cant move any wrench to adjust it while its in there
@MotoHerC9 жыл бұрын
I adjusted mine without lifting the throttle-bodies, it was really hard.. On the other hand if you cant do it just lift the throttle bodies a tiny bit so you can loosen the ape cct.. now when its loose tighten it untill you feel some friction, than just do like a quarter turn to tighten it and that should be good.. Man it took me 3 different times to get the right tightness.. and also make sure you put some locktite on the bolt so it doesnt get loose from vibration. I used the blue one right from autozone... just so that i can brake it lose if i need to adjust it again.. good luck man !
