My pelvic drop on my Elite table goes really fast from insufficient tension to hold it up to not dropping at all. If I can get a drop out of it its not very crisp at all. Do I need to replace the drop?

Thanks for providing this information. I bought a used Elite L-919 Hilo table with lumbo-pelvic, thoracic, and cervical drops. The pelvic drop is now finicky - after I’ve set it for the weight of the patient, it works intermittently. Sometimes I releases as it’s supposed to for the first drop (usually do 3 drops per area) and the next drop it won’t release with the same amount of force (which can hurt or even injure a patient). I’m glad I watched this because I was thinking of using white lithium grease. Now I know to use common petroleum jelly. I would love to see a video of a tech (or a doc) working on an older table with a worn mechanism. It would just require a table that needs an adjustment (pun intended ;) ).
