I thought this song was self deprecating at first. About you not making enough time for others by being too busy (which I heavily relate to) then I thought you might have friends that hadn't been making the time for you maybe? But then I noticed it was all sounding very religious so I must know. Is this song about god and her absence?

you nailed it. it was written about my relationship with god and/or a divine being. however, I also wanted to try and leave it just vauge enough so that these set of circumstances could really be appleid to any relationship dynamic.

I absolutely LOVE this song. Only took me about 2 days to memorize all the lyrics. My favorite lyrics have to be "The half spilled caffeine spilling into our bloodstreams, ourbloodstreams. Take your right hand and point to the clouds" Keep it up👍
