I heard you guys sing this live last weekend and I was overcome with emotion. It felt like a kind of guttural cry of the shared experience of human suffering. More than the words, more than the theological framework- a kind of unwritten sound that only my soul can understand.

Everything is wonderful, but the female soloists voice is so delicate and rich at the same time. Exceptional.

I sing with the Warrenton, VA Chorale and we are singing this arrangement on Memorial Day. I used this recording to rehearse as it is the best I have found. Viva!! Moses Hogan and the exceptional Oasis Chorale.

They left out part-- Be still my soul, the waves and winds STILL know His voice who ruled them while He dwelt below. Yeah, nature remembers Who created them. Jesus said that if men no longer praised God, the rocks would immediately cry out. The heavens declare the glory of God.

‘Til we meet at Jesus’ feet. God be with you, ‘til we meet again. Or you can live your life , making all your decisions to suit yourself, and your carnal nature, and miss being gathered around the Throne of God.
