Now I'm catching this 7 years after it was put out. Are these still the rods you recommend, or are there new, better performance products in the pipeline?

I purchased this gun new 3 yrs ago. Gunpod is useless - just a marketing gimmick. Doesn't even work anymore and the batteries are a real pain to change. This $1,500 gun jams when using light target loads. I'm trading it in for something better and more reliable.

I know it's way late but I owned a solo and loved it so I bought two carbon xl one in euro nymph rod. Great product for the buck. Thumbs up and thanks to the echo crew.

Our boat is a 14x6 ft Sweet Water mini-toon and we regularly have 4 people out and about with this motor pushing us through the water just fine. When fully cranked up, we get it up to 4 MPH. Have even pulled the youngster behind it on a SUP to simulate skiing. Was super funny and fun but it didn't have any issues pulling him. (Grown 17 y/o) I did get a pretty heavy duty battery and we can easily go several weeks without charging. This was a great purchase for our particular needs.*

If you are expecting blood trails to be your only means of tracking deer, that's to bad. If there was no blood at 100 yards you are most likely pulling your shots,as even a very badly constructed bullet would cause good damage at this range. I do not use the bxr but I do use the bxc. I would not hesitate to use the bxr though.Deer are pretty easy to anchor.
