U do what’s best for ur hair. I wash my hair once a month mostly because I wear protective styles like cornrows and I wear wigs because I’m so lazy when it comes to wash day because it’s a two day process. I shampoo, deep condition and then do a blowout and get it braided back up and it’s been working great for my hair growth journey.

I'm at bsl it started growing like crazy when I started washing once a month blow dry and braid in two braids. It also got crazy thick. I was stuck at arm pit for a while. I want to get to mid back then I'll cut it to maintain mbl. It is to much.

How does a combination of ketoconazole anti fungal shampoo and oils sound? Shampoo every now and then with the medicated shampoo but oil the scalp with rosemary and pumpkin seed oil before.

My main goal for a long time was to get to MBL I would get frustrated and cut it. I finally have it at this length and now want to shoot for waist length. I agree that trimming it and tucking it away helps.

Do you wet it down at all? I tried the no poo method for 2 months and my hair was NASTY! I have natural wave and curl and I'm thinking of less washing rather than no poo. Your hair looks fantastic!

Thanks so much for your video. Very informative. I did protine treatment foe my hair,it was the worst decision. After washing my hair from the treatment , my scalp was burning and painful for weeks. Dr prescribed me with cortisone lotion.. took few months until i thought my scalp was fully healed. After 4 months, grey hair started to show. I coloured my hair at home, but same issue in my scalp!! Burning painful scalp!! I’m currently using aloe vera oil , i hope my scalp will be healed and dont have allergy reaction from chemicals!! Is this a scalp burn or allergy reaction irritant contact dermatitis?? You talked about basing the scalp before any treatment. Could please do a vedio on this topic? Thanks again!

One of the best videos on this topic. It contains many of the tips that I have found works best for me, i.e. high up ponytail and keeping the roots flat and adding oil.to lengthen/smooth. Thank you.

my left side is WAY thicker and past my shoulder and my right side is at my neck , it’s visibly noticeable no matter what hair style i put it in , i wanted to wear my hair out in curls but i looked so dumb, the left side looked flawless and amazing then the right side messed it all up. this is the first time in my whole life that this has happened

I worked up to doing this, and actually, this is the best thing that works for me. I also realized I can rinse my hair in between if I want to rinse my scalp.
