It's crazy how the drums and the bass are connected here. It sounds like it's one instrument! Amazing groove!

I remember these concerts. Don Kirshna, Midnight Special, Grey Whistle, of SoundStage on PBS. Before anyone heard anything about MTV. I miss the 70s.

Great version and musicianship! It's just to bad almost no one knew how to film a band in those days.

Yeah, perhaps if U.K. never happened Bill & Jeff could have just worked with Holdsworth instead. IOU *could* have been much better than what it ended up being. Although, by 87' Allan was a bit too deep into the SynthAxe, the soundbanks simply weren't there yet so as a result most of his stuff post-Fatigue sounds almost as horribly dated as whatever this is.

I heard Abercrombie Trio in Sweden 1985. The day before they went to Oslo, Norway to record for ECM (Current Events) as I found out. It was a very good concert and the album is great.

I think John started off too slow and Steve appropriated it by speeding up, but John didn’t seem to really want to follow 😂

This is not great. First song sounded rushed. I don’t care what the excuses are. Unless the tempo is way too fast or too slow, you stick with what is started, especially on such a short song, like really? Just put the fries in the bag bro.

Every canadian pawn shop in the 80s had a stack of those Traynors for 50 bucks a pop. Stuffed with mullards. Today they're 1000 plus.. FYI that Traynor Bass Master is basically a 59 bassman or a marshall jtm45 circuit. Awesome amps.

Kc part two. Never was a big fan of Allen's tone , but when he added a Lil distortion on some leads I woke up. 1st time seeing this . His tone is excellently boring ! Bill , we'll, class act. Sid Vicious on bass is pretty good too ! 😂

Amazing, John's guitar tone could've been better. His known regular amp setup works much better: Two rock, Dumble SSS, fender bandmaster/another two rock
