If you notice the pinky is higher up on the ball than the fore finger. This means that the wrist is tilted towards your foot.

The arm, elbow and hand position, back in the 80s and earlier, used to be the standard for hooking (the handshake method). Now it is irrelevant.

Now we're seeing arms crossing over the chest and coming back over to the natural followthrough position. That used to be a no go. Now it is a relevant method .

two-handed uses a completely different mechanism in generating high rev shot, therefore it should be in a separated pro category from conventional one-hander! like wrestling, fencing, and swimming! ...a japanese bowler's personal opinion😮

Bowling alleys have balls that typically don’t have a core so they don’t have the right ball to hook with. Also it can take up to years or even more to be consistent and have the release down. So if you want to do this you have to really want to put the effort in, such as getting lessons and most importantly your practicing. Bowling is not like riding a bike where it all just comes back if you take a long break. In fact if you take a decently long break the ball might not be right for you anymore
