There is a black belt and a Gracie black belt. Some ppl make it black belt level in BJJ But,only a few make it to Gracie black belt levels. It's the reality, DNA has something to do with it. Look at Rogers here,big guy rolling as if he was 100 lbs.

Making him look like a blue belt. No disrespect. Rener makes me feel like I never trained.

Hi Roger this is so helpful! I love your style and use of solid basics . Just love it as I’m sure many do here. Could you also show escapes from sidemount etc how you handle this . Also of course other videos and the narrated videos of you sparring are amazing

I’m a white belt. Watching him do that to another black belt is SCARY

Does anyone know how he is passing the guard at 0:24 ?
@rccustoms872 ай бұрын
@3:18 If that was a white belt he'd be booted from the mats, but *that* was a legendary blow. Roger was merely being efficient with his time 😂

From @1:20:00: in BJJ the top athletes are expected to teach. Like in academia then. Except if you get a position at Institute for Advanced Study, which R. Feynman famously turned down because he felt he needed to not only do research but also teach (for a number of reasons).

Incrível como você pode pegar um monte de lutas do Roger, mesma saída da guarda fechada com muita pressão já passando, já vem joelho na barriga e montando em seguida. Simples e ninguém defende

I really don't understand what is Roger doing. I see it and it just looks like "wait, how is he controlling? why isn't his partner doing defense X or escape Y?". Wild.
