I skied almost all kinds of snow conditions with Enforcer 99 and I love them. Only snow I could not enjoy was hard packed half artificial snow. Other than that, they go quite smooth over variety of off piste snows and curve very well on prepared slopes. Kind of like magic carpet for me. I.e. I am amazed by their versatility. I do not mind these skies being heavier because the weight offers me stability and solid feel but I can still make quick move when needed. It is easier to get the tail of the skies loose which is good and bad. Good for ease of adjusting turn or braking mid turn but bad for more crisp curving. Only if there are more snow falls in my area, German/Austria Alps, Enforcer 99 would be my one ski quiver. Reality is that I often ski on hard packed half artificial snow this winter. So I have to have another pair for that.

Thanks for sharing your experience! Sometimes I miss the added weight of the previous Enforcer 100s. I feel like the weight reduction is what causes some of the instability at high speeds on hard pack that I experience....

nice review.. i would say a lot of the same things about my Enforcer 104 Free..

@@darinsmith2458 Thanks for watching Darin! I can definitely see some overlaps between this ski and the 104 Free. Particularly the tail, which is much more like the 104 Free now. I still think the 104 Free is a generally more playful ski and definitely an improvement in softer snow. Enjoy your season!

@@strongopinionsongear i love my 104 Free.. my experience with Enforcer is that the ski makes me overconfident.. i need to remind myself that the ski can do it all even though i might not be able to

I have them since a month, they are a workout, too heavy for me.
@strongopinionsongear22 күн бұрын
@@fantomas9661 They are definitely not a light ski! There are a number of options out there that might suit you better if you’re looking for something lighter. I’d suggest checking out the Blizzard Rustler 9. Excellent all-mountain ski that’s easier to use and less of a workout. Thanks for watching!

I bought at the beginning of the season and have the protector bindings (also heavy). I feel the same, they are really heavy skis. Great on groomers and chunk, but not sure they are ideal for the conditions out here in the PNW. Super challenging for me in bumped up trails, which we have a lot of. My local ski shop thought the Enforcer 104s would be better, but I already have the 1st edition of the QST 106s. they are super light and the tips are not very stiff, so they get pushed around a lot. So, I have 2 ends of the spectrum. Need something more in the middle!

I'm a facilities maintenance man and I love my 6 in 1 Milwaukee Fastback so much I that I carry one, one in my truck, one in my work van and two new in box ready to go if one goes MIA. I also use Titanium coated blades for their rust resistance.
@strongopinionsongear2 ай бұрын
Awesome! What brand do you like for the ti coated blades?
@johnossendorf99792 ай бұрын
@strongopinionsongear I bought 50 Berkling SK2H Ti plated blades about a year ago and I'm very happy with their corrosion resistance and cutting preformence. I keep a new blade in the handle and the one in the cutting position I touch up with a diamond file good enough for most cutting.

You can use the slotted head screwdriver as a scraper or lightweight pry tool as well like I do with mine. I could probably name about 10 other things but it’s a really handy tool.
