Just gross tbh, wild horses are becoming more and more of a rare thing, so glad the national park in my state has a healthy pop of wild horses just beautiful, And it doesn't make sense so let go out take them from their natural environment just so people can adopt them, a wild horse, makes absolutely no fucking sense to me

That's not good for the horses right? I think you all don't need musters, that's too brutal!😦

The woman interviewed at the start of this item is over the top. She is obviously a great advocate for these animals, but if the stress on the horses is so enormous, as she claims, would it not be more humane to just shoot them? Actually I'm not in favor of that, but how about keeping some perspective.
@tip3974 жыл бұрын
As much as I love owning horses, these have no right to be there & should be classed as every other noxious animal ie deer, possums. Its just not the place for them.
@VicktoryaStone4 жыл бұрын
Possums, and pakehas, (and pine trees), - none have 'a right to be there' ? -- So remove them. As pakehas, start first. Do they have a right to be there? Certainly not natural. (Whatever exactly that word means.)

Get couple of wranglers on horses to guide/lead the wild horses in to where you want them to go since they’re herd animals and will easily follow.

Hi Giuseppe, it is very emotional, and we are happy to say that all of the healthy Kai's were rehomed. Unfortunately, there were a few that had to be put down for humane reasons (injuries etc)

@@tekepealah854 The people that have taken these horses have saved their lives. They did not ask for them to be mustered, they simply put their hand up to help re-home them so they can live out happy lives and not go to slaughter.

@@tekepealah854 hahahah this has my dying of laughter. the muster is done so they can keep numbers down, for environmental and cultural reasons. they do not get starved in the wild, or during being rehomed. it is better to be with people who will take care of them. they were going to die anyways. Karren did an amazing thing, helping a horse rather than sending them off to the kill pen. is that what you would rather for them? honestly you're one of those nature enthusiasts woww 🤣🤣🤣 they may have a bond, but it ought to be broken sometime. calm down fella.

@@olympiasunray1444 Horses in the wild are naturally healthy and don't need vets or dentists or farriers. Do you also believe people overpopulate, and that culling them and sending them to doctors and dentists will keep them healthier? Since the 3rd leading cause of death is due to medical intervention, one may wonder. I'm not criticizing your statement, but I'm asking some questions.
