I wonder why you prefer to teach slangs instead of avoiding them. Here kids are taught to apply standard English (rather than nonstandard/street English). Also formal vs informal. Not encouraged to use contractions in formal writing/talking. In fact slangs are at times pejerotive/deregatory. Ain't is very obsolete as well. Here in London some speak in Cockney accent. They say nufin for nothing. You cannot teach this for others. I have no clue how you go into slang. Singers and Black American culture ruined English, but not still normalised. Nobody employs them for their accent

They cannot say I wanna go, I am gonna... etc during IELTS test. Some Londoners have to take intensive elocution course to go into drama or journalism. They are not suited to standard/formal English. I saw Abi teaching Euphemism the other day. That is the other end of the scale. Saying "I want to go to toilet" was not bad at all. He recommended to soften it.
