Come join us on a ride with the Brand new Water Metro in Kochi Kerala! 🇮🇳
We were amazed by the Modern Train system in India, so we had to try out the Water Metro to Fort Kochi which is a beautiful tourist destination in Kochi Kerala.
We walked around Fort Kochi and tried some local Indian Street food, some Paneer Butter Masala and Butter Paneer with some Paratha! As Always, the Indian food was amazing. After that, we had a Fresh Coconut from the streets before we headed down to Fort Kochi Beach where we got us some Indian Jackfruit Ice Cream and some fresh pineapple! What a day in beautiful Kochi! 🇮🇳
Cheers guys

Yo I love this video! As a Keralite it speaks to me. And I know it’s gonna be a bit difficult, but in Kerala we speak Malayalam and even though a lot of people know Hindi, speaking in Malayalam would be really special cuz for each South Indian state we feel like our languages are being neglected for Hindi. But that’s optional and shouldn’t hinder your experience here! We hope you have an amazing rest of Kerala ahead of you! Cheers! (BTW try watching our Malayalam movies while your here too! Most theatres now have English subtitles).

I don't think there is much grassroots influence other than the ubiquitous European style cakes. Kerala's cuisine is very Indian. We did integrate tapioca/yucca imported during the colonial era as a staple food. Also chilies as a cheap substitute for the black pepper we were famous for, and cashews.

So basically, it's watching people eat. They wanted to go to the jewish quarter, but we see nothing of it. Another thing not mentioned is that Kochi formerly Cochin is the world's first and most important city for pepper. It's nickname is Pepper Wall Street. Since Kerala is known for all the spices you know and also those you haven't. And it was the jews actually who started it worldwide. That's why I was disappointed, I'm not Jewish just in case, but for me it shows what a beautiful, natural and human state Kerala is. All of those I met, tourists visiting my country, really wonderful people. And yes, I would love to visit Kerala ! And the food is just. I'm hungry ! The problem here, is that we only have punjabi restaurants, there's no south Indian ones. In London, yes I can find that. My best wishes to all the people of Kerala !

You have grabbed a bunch of Hindi words but in Kerala, you would find English to be more useful. Keralites are more familiar with English that Hindi. Thank you is more commonly used than even the native language word for it. And Malayalam is the native language. 'Dhanyawad' would confuse some people. The Jewish town is one of the best places to visit in Kochi, with the antiques and aromas.

Welcome to Kochi, Land of invasions by Portughese, Dutch and English. So diverse from other parts of India, you can feel the vibes and monuments still, and you can taste the food of all around the world. The food in kerala is totally different from north India and you will get all forms of Non-veg here and is so cheap, Restaurants are cheap and you guys can try it out. Kerala people mostly speak in Malayalam and English, most people even don't know Hindi.

You didn’t mentions, Kerala has a long history of trade from the BC itself. The romans, Greek, Egyptian, Jews, Arabs, Chinese etc came to this land in search of black gold, Pepper. From that century itself Keralites are emerged into global people. Apart from that, the first Christian church, masjid, synagogue in India are in Kerala.

The South Indian states have their own language if you talk to people there in Hindi some people will take it offensive or insulting them .
