You need to place an ammeter and a voltmeter to check the 0-35 volts and measure the current at full load

Good job sir. Question please: Can I use IRF740 mosfet instead? Can 12v DC battery be stepped up to say 30V and be used on speeding up the RPM of wiper motor than the normal highspeed?

It would probably work, but the 740 is only good for 10amp max whereas the p460a is good for 20amp, and the total power dissipation is 740 is 125 watts and the p460a is 280 watts. So depending on what you are doing it could work fine for lower power operations. But for higher power applications the p460a would be much better. They will both have to have a good heat sink of course.

Is this an actual "regulator" or merely a variable voltage supply? I ask because you didn't show the output voltage with different loads to see any regulation abilities. So how does it actually regulate without any reference, feedback or regulation circuitry?

It is in no way a regulator in the usual sense of the term. It is just a simple "source follower" or "common drain amplifier." The output voltage will increase with increased input voltage and decrease with increasing load current. You can do a fair job of regulating voltage without feedback with a bipolar transistor as an emitter follower to something like a zener diode because the base-emitter voltage of a BJT is fairly constant. With a FET you really need active feedback because of the variation in the gate-source threshold voltage and transconductance of the FET.

Es soll doch ein Spannungsteiler werden ? Braun schwarz grün ist doch wohl zu hoch ? Gut die Enddiode passt in Emitterschaltung. Nur braucht man das hier bei Mosfet ? so beschaltet ? Wäre ein vorgeschalteter OP als Spannungsteiler nicht besser zu regeln ?

The 470 ohm resistor has almost no power to take. The gate of a Mosfet transistor only needs voltage to establish a conductive connection between drain and source. The current consumption of the gate connection is probably a few nano-amperes. So almost impossible to measure. But to use a MOSFET in the right way, i would build a PWM Speed-Controller.

Most emphatically, *_NO!!_* This circuit does not actually regulate voltage. The output voltage will vary with input voltage and with load current. It is a terrible circuit for charging a lithium battery where precise voltage regulation is required. With a two-cell battery you also need additional circuitry to be sure the cells stay balanced.

No. In this Video the MOSFET is used the wrong way. MOSFETs are only designed for switching ON an OFF (up to tousand or million times in a second). To use the IRFP460C in it's working area it needs a proper heatsink that can handle up to 235W of Power Dissipation and a proper squarewave to drive it's Gate.

Your UTSource supplier is horrible and really useless. I try to order a fast recovery diode and a mosfet, item cost was around 2.00S$. Shipping charges to Singapore , this idiot tell me is 40.00S$. So far I have ordered items from other sites. Normally shipping charges around 2-5 S$. This supplier I think is from Moon or Jupiter.
