Agreed but like I said if you get close to soft/hard cover then you'll be very hard to spot to most players but yes hopefully in the future the grass render distance will be better. Thanks for watching :D

Sometimes zombie carry netting when you kill them, it depends what kind of zombie.

Since trees and bushes render in while distant grass doesn’t, is hiding in them more reliable camouflage?

The branches at the front of the tree will not render in no, you'll maybe blend in slightly depending on the colors of the Ghillie/tree but your best bet is to be 15-20m behind the edge of the tree line or find a small cluster of trees/bushes and be in the middle of them, hope that helps :D

Wolverine 60fps Mossy doesn't seem as dark as it used to be but I would still choose the woodland Ghillie for all round use 😀

They changed that a while ago so people couldn't get an unfair advantage only problem is the render distance of grass.

Hey, good video but on .61 you didn't need to find the random boats to get netting. Instead, you could go to Cherno and in the little docking area there were lots of boats that always spawned netting. Is this still the same for .62 or did they change it?

Still the same as 0.61 but not all people like to go to Cherno ( I do go to the same place as you though) Best covering all the spawns instead of just one set. Thanks for watching :D

i had a full ghilie suit and perfect gear, i mean PERFEFCT gear for the suit. but nooooo. they do a character wipe along with my 10 tents full of stuff. over 200 hours for the 10 tents and 80 hours getting geared up and making the ghilie suit.

But yeah man that sucks man, which server was this? they could've been having issues with the server and decide to do a wipe for both to try get server performance to a decent lvl unless it was the official servers. sorry for your time wasted though man :(

Astros Legacy im not to notified on how often official servers do a character wipe or about unofficial servers but i mainly play on public servers. But i just wish we could get a months notice if they do a character wipe

Yeah I'm not either tbh, only usually play on private servers these days. Only thing it could've been was that dupe bug people were doing to crash the server. they could've wiped the server because of that?

SCD Media Hmm I'm not sure then...I have I would say a mid spec PC right now and still manage at least 40fps in big towns etc while streaming & recording then usually 50-60fps when I'm not streaming. Maybe check your config settings 😀

www.twitch.tv/videos/41563345 Sacriel did a test, rendering at distance actually changes if you lie in short or tall grass. If you're in tall grass you will sink down more. Not sure how it affects the ghillie suit though. Also, great video! Thank you for doing this.

Yeah it's still like that now, just wanted to see the basic estimate distance for the grass not rendering in but it would be cool to test it more with different levels of terrain, grass length ect. Thanks for watching man :D
