Beef only goes as far as squaring up nowadays because of what happened before. It was a regular occurrence for punches, tripping, pushing, benches clearing ,etc... before. The malice in the palace changed everything. You glance at someone funny you get a technical foul nowadays.

For context the hockey one isn’t cuz they fought it’s because Sydney Crosby pushed the Flyer’s players helmet away with his stick while he was tryna get it. But from what I remember there was like 10 fights that happened in that game both teams hated each other, and they cut the clip at the fight which was the best part 😂

In boxing, pushing is not allowed. The guy against the ropes just needed space to fight back and did what he had to do just to regain control. Once he did, he stayed mindful and didn't punch the back of his opponent's head.

Also the fighter who was pushed had his back facing his opponent, in boxing turning your back is a sign you want to stop fighting so the ref should've jumped in there and no allowed the pushed fighter to be hit while he wasn't facing the opponent
