Great and informative video trevor! Do you need to create 3 new negative keyword lists for every campaign/brand? Just wondering about how you go about that. Any tips on that would be appreciated
@ecomwithTrevor7 ай бұрын
Thank you! 3 Negative Keyword Lists for the whole account is sufficient. You can also use Campaign Negatives, it's a little more advanced if you don't have a very clear understanding of the funnel structure. I would stick with the 3 lists, Low, Medium, Universal. If you get a brand you don't want in a campaign, just use "brand" to remove that out of those campaigns.
@SeanDingley-l5y7 ай бұрын
@@ecomwithTrevor thanks so much for responding🙏🏻 I have about 4 product types within the same brand/niche,, I guess having multiple types of products won’t effect the negative keyword list since the Tofu mofu bofu strategy is more brand focused?

Yes, the multiple type of products don't make a difference to the strategy

Hi Trevor, your videos is very useful. How do you know the right bid amount? Not too low, not too high.
@ecomwithTrevor7 ай бұрын
You don’t off the bat. You start low then increase over time or decrease as you get conversions or if you’re not comfortable with pace of spend.
@TheKartingLegend28 күн бұрын
Hey Trevor! Just a quick one - do you create a different low funnel negative keyword list for each brand? Or is this the same? When i search certain brands and models, products from completely different brands appear at the front and so i wonder if i am spending far too much on some of these clicks.
@ecomwithTrevor28 күн бұрын
3 Keyword List for all brands. Do “brand” negative in the brand you don’t want the brand showing up to the campaign level as a negative
@christopherstoker54927 ай бұрын
Hey Trevor, thanks for the great info!! Why did you name each campaign "EV Rider" High, Medium, and Low? Do you have to have a High, Medium, and Low Campaign for each of your brands? Or can you just have only 3 campaigns total and then subdivide the brands as Ad Groups within the 3 main High, Medium, and Low Campaigns?
@ecomwithTrevor7 ай бұрын
I use 3 Campaigns Per Brand Advertised. You can do 3 campaigns, then each brand as ad groups as well. But 3 campaigns per brand gives you the maximum control.

Hi Trevor, great job on the store revenue. If you we're starting out a new store, you recommend starting with 3-5 product types in the beginning. Considering you have experience, the ability to allocate higher ad budget, more internal systems in place along potential VA's from the beginning. Would you still start with 3-5 product types in a niche-themed store or would you be ok doing 10-20 product types from the get go?
@ecomwithTrevor8 ай бұрын
Hey! I would definitely be fine doing 10-20 or more if it all fits under the niche. The reason I recommend 3-5 is I've seen most people "skim from the top" meaning you don't get all the suppliers or related product types, they hop from product type to product type and never get the best suppliers that way. Once you understand that, you can do however much you want at scale. The process is straight forward, it's just pushing volume at that point. And once you have a store, you can copy paste the same systems, SOPs, VAs, onto the new store for sure :) A valid strategy is to launch these stores, sell them off in 1 year for 30X - 40X multiples than repeat that.

When you took out the low funnel negative key word list under the the low campaign, how come you didn’t re-include the middle funnel negative key word list if you’re trying to filter them to the right tier of campaign? Not sure if I’m making sense. I’m new to this…
@ecomwithTrevor2 ай бұрын
High - Universal, Medium, Low Medium - Universal, Low Low - Universal This should be what's attached to each campaign.
@TheKartingLegend3 ай бұрын
What are your thoughts on adding a fourth filter for the medium and low campaigns to force less relevant terms into the cheapest filter? Say you are selling kayaks and you get a search "kayaks for sale" - for some reason similar terms keep going to my low campaign and causing astronomically expensive campaigns. You can filter out terms like aliexpress, ebay etc. in the universal one, but terms like "kayaks" are relevant, just not for anything other than the cheapest funnel. So if you made a 4th negative keywords list for terms like "kayak", "kayaks", "kayaks for sale" and only applied to low and medium, this would force them to go into the cheapest funnel? Or have I missed something?
@ecomwithTrevor3 ай бұрын
Yeah you could definitely do that, I've testing that strategy for 4 months. Doesn't perform better than the Branded Keywords in terms of Cost/Conv.

@@TheKartingLegend If this is the case, there is something wrong with your Shopping Ads Funnel Setup 1. Check Negative Keywords 2. Check Campaign Priorities 3. Check if you have Shared Budget 4. Make sure all campaigns have the same products. It's likely 1 or 2 that you have something wrong.

Hi Trevor. Great video. So do you recommend running separate campaigns for every brand you have as opposed just having all your products in the campaign?
@ecomwithTrevor6 ай бұрын
Yes, I was using all products in 1 campaign previously, this just gives you more control and there's no downsides to doing it 3 campaigns per brand.

Hello, thank you for the video. Could you tell me, how are you profitable with a 0.18% conversion rate? Or is there even any profit on the revenue you made? I would appreciate an answer.
@ecomwithTrevor8 ай бұрын
Conv rate doesn’t matter because 1. Organic Traffic is TOF, MOF, and ads are targeting BOF. And the clicks are cheap in this niche compared to the margins made. Margins are 20% after everything. Plenty of stores hover around 0.10% - 0.50% The more organic traffic you get that’s not targeted the lower the conv rate goes because traffic isn’t as targeted to buy.

Hey, thank you for the video. I have a question. If I have several brands that I am selling, do I have to put every single brand in its own campaign or can I put every brand in the same campaign and for the negative keywords just put in all brand names
@ecomwithTrevor2 ай бұрын
3 Campaigns per brand gives you the most control, so that's what is recommended. Negative keywords, Medium - Brand Names, Low - Brand + SKU

Hey Trevor! Would you still do this even if your store has say 30 brands? In total you would have 90 campaigns and I've noticed that parts of google ads grinds to a halt with 30 campaigns running for 10 brands. Or would you join some of those together e.g. say you sell drones, selling underwater drones in 1 campaign, large cargo loading ones in another etc.
@ecomwithTrevor3 ай бұрын
I still do 3 Brands Per Brand, gives the most control, and although there's lots of campaigns, you only really tweak 20% of campaigns since 80/20 rule. 20% of campaigns should be bringing in 80% of the sales.
