00003 - Control Module: No or Incorrect Basic Setting for MK60EC1 ABS

Hello, I have done this procedure a couple times successfully in the past. Have a 2010 VW Golf in the shop for a new ABS module. Am able to get through the Channel 025 within 5 mins. Have tried over a few days to work through channel 026 and it never completes. We have done this on a cold engine and worked through it for 20 mins and never calibrated. Am able to maintain required values with the brake pedal. Still have fault 00003 - Control Module No or Incorrect Basic Setting / Adaption Posting here because I'm waiting for my Ross Tech forum login to be approved. Great video though. thanks

I always wonder how they do this sort of calibration at the factory. That and filling in / bleeding all the air out of the brakes.

Hello RossTech Thank you for the info video, i have a question. While doing group 025 there is a min and max value shown.. and >000< is the current value shown. When the software says press pedal, does one press pedal slowly to match the current value to the min and max value or does one press the pedal as normal braking. Thanx in advance Roshan

In my case I can't se the values inside the case, it says "MEASURE VALUE NOT IN" What I can do in that case?

After all the pressing it says “ No Valv” then instead the Calibrated it says “Error” what it could be?

Who ever did thay? Cold engine get warm after 20min when ambient temp is 10© , how much time need to do that adaptation?

I did this on Audi Q7 but written error on group 25 and 26. Is it different methode between UDS and non UDS ?

Hi Ross, I'm getting a DTC of P161200 Skoda, but I guess they are the same as VW. ECM incorrectly coded. Batterry was disconnected for weeks. Do you know the code for reprogramming the ECU correctly please. Thanks

Hi, got a6 c6 3.0tdi , c After a while driving, like 15-20 mins abs and esp light comes up, cruise control working, if I switch the car off , sometimes error dont come back again just after a while , code that i have is break pressure sensor implausible signal, if i try to calibrate it , do u think it will work?

I'm trying to activate XDS on my 2009 GTI. However, when I check the box in the long coding for XDS and then hold the check mark in my obdeleven, I get the (31) function not available error code. I know this video is for VCDS, not obdeleven, but I'm wondering if there is a more upper level security code that might allow me to make the change. I've only been able to get the 40168 code for basic settings to work. Is there a code that would work for upper level changes?

As best I know, we've not come across this... so while there may be some procedure for the UDS versions, we've not researched in depth like have for the older CAN version. Now this may change as the UDS versions get older.

Could I do this on a 2008 Audi S8? The brakes have been checked out and fluid changed, but the pedal can still touch the floor if pressed hard enough. I always thought that was a no-no?

Hi all, anyone can tell me why I can't run the complete proccess in group 026? After the second adjusting or pedal press I always get fault code 004. What might be the problem? 2010 Golf 6, 2.0 Tdi. The group 025 runs perfect within 5 mins. After that I left the car to cool down for all night, and tried to run basic setting on group 026 but no success.
