No spoilers, but Bonita Granville is so excellent in this dual role. I'm working my way through all of these movies- LOVE this channel- and this one might be my favorite so far. So twisted and violent and strange!

Ironically, the main actor (Castle)in this film was roommates with the producer (Wrather), who later married the main actress. (Bonita) Wrather and Castle also brought us the T.V. program Lassie.

A very good ending. Woolrich's writings, many went to film, can leave a viewer guessing right up to the last frame of the film. A film to spend a little time with if you like noir.😊

this was my first time seeing this movie. the story is so messed up - in that the nice twin is believed dead. the two guys who lived together seemed to trade them like candy bars. honestly the twins didn't seem like two different people. I don't know if it was the direction or the acting. Estelle's grief seemed feigned. got 20 minutes left. let's see what happens next.

Good story deserved a better director and cast. No wonder Don Castle never became a big star - no charisma. I noticed in every scene with other actors, he was the tallest but had the smallest head, even compared to the women.
