This was great - like watching Barry White replace a wheel bearing - no lyrics, but the poetry of the right tools=right job were lyrics enough! #beautiful #gonnahavetotakeminetothepress #stillgotsomegoodpointers

I think its better turn around disk when putting the hub on.to ensure you touch the inner race perfectly, the race extender is awsome , mayby can be used on a lathe as well...most tools can be self made. bottle jack.blind flange, spindle old scissor jack a.s.o. thanks for showing. goedendag

that is the right way to do job right. you have no chance to damage any parts as those tools are designed to be fail safe. also keep you safe as well. safety first, use correct tools always.

the most scary part is to push the cv axle in. most people use hammer to do it. sometimes if you push too far in you might end up replacing rear diff.

Fantastic quality job, unlikely to find a garage that would do it so professionally, as the tools used look very expensive. Putting the bearing in correctly will mean it will not fail prematurely. Look how clean his hands are in such a mucky area, is he made of Teflon?

This is the only mechanic I know who can do a full wheel bearing tear down and reassembly without touching the existing part or getting his hands dirty.. I'm sure he gets dirty in other ways, especially if this is the kind of shop music he prefers... just wow... Is this why they charge you an hour labor? I could do this by hand in 30 mins or less!

Ese mecanico debe tener otro empleo de tiempo parcial para poder comprar esas herramientas tan caras, porque con el tiempo que tarda para hacer el trabajo no creo que gane lo suficiente para comprarlas.

Hmmm... when I took the knuckle of my 9 year old Getz all I had to do to get the driveshaft out was tap it with a hammer a few times and pull. How well does it work if you've snapped a wheel stud on the hub?

No wonder labor is getting more expensive because they use over engineered tools in the video. I have seen all the mechanics using impact to remove axle nuts. And and very last the guy used the impact and the most unreliable torque stick to install wheel back. That is called German engineering.
