006 MY BEST RING POUR! New acrylic paint pour with Silicone made the best cells! | Abstract art

I wanted to make an acrylic paint pour with some really bold colours, which would create a bright contrast! I chose a bright red paint base coat, along with black & white and tried a stacked ring pour. I think it turned out amazing with some really cool cells!

Thanks Trudi! I used a craft red for my pillow, which was about 80% paint, 20% medium as it is quite thin. Artist’s Loft Black and White for the top with silicone in both. 35ml paint, 70ml medium and 10ml water. The white needed more paint being more thin as well. Around 50/50 for the white. Let me know how it turns out! 🙂

What a great inspiration for my next piece, thank you! Ive only just begun playing with deeper colored pearl bases. I don't use silicone oil for my cells because it messes up the resin or poly top coat so I have to rely on the science of differing densities rather than chemistry. Awesome pour!

@@nancykanyuk5369 I haven’t added them but I’d be happy to. The Deco and the AL paint are way different ratio wise. Deco is quite thin and AL is quite thick, but it’s no secret. 😊
