I can imagine a james bond movie where the fate of the world hangs in the balance. James bond retired and raising a son was asked to return. He was very reluctant until his son became collateral damage in some catastrophic event, and that made him agree. This is now personal. The mastermind was thought to be the leader of a global religeous cult who has the command of a billion worshippers. Devout worshippers include leaders of nation, his own boss, military officers from many nuclear armed countries and they will have no qualm in unleashing nuclear holocaust. But in the end, the real mastermind was someone they never even suspect and was hiding in plain sight. I just made that up, was so inspired by this music. Sorry if i wasted your time

That's pretty much every Bruce Willis movie. James Bond is not a dad. James Bond is not a husband. James Bond is an orphan with a license to kill. He drinks hard because he murders people for his beloved country. He's an avid book reader and loner. He doesn't get attached to things in his personal life. He loves expensive drink and food on the Queens dime and takes other mens wives. He's a reluctant brute with a conscious and demons. We saw him retired and he was alone. Still an avid book reader, womanizer and drinker.. minus the killing.

Cheers mate… The tick was a happy accident. I’ve been using metronome sounds in my recent stuff. I normally use metal sounds but found this one and when I put it in I realised it sounded like a clock which was ideal

The whole thing is a blend of techniques from all the the Daniel Craig trailers. There’s a trailer for no time to die that uses something similar to the part at 2:34, but I mostly just came up with everything on the spot

Okay so trying to be fair here because I don't want the point to be misconstrued. I can tell you put effort into it, it really shows. This is a fantastic piece of music and rendition of the 007 theme and you should be very proud of it. It captures the scope of the immeasurable missions that bond faces and I have great respect for your musical abilities. My only concern is I feel it was just lacking that...I don't know how to put it, it felt like there was something missing. Like when you taste food and it's amazing but just missing something. I can't tell you what that is as I don't know, just personally think it's missing that...idk, secret ingredient I guess? Overall fantastic music, just feels like something is missing. Hope this comes across as a respectful review because i'm really not trying to be shitty or crap all over it because your talent isn't lacking nor is it a lackluster piece of music, I just feel it needs a little something more. ❤️

I agree. It is not a criticism. The arrangemnt follows the basic structure of trailer music nowadays. Not a bad thing. Just sounds more familiar. The underlying "familiarity" is might be what you are trying to describe. But another great take on Bond. from a very talented person. I put this right up there with the best work of Rich Douglas.
