Best part is, when you almost completed the mission with all bond moments and tokens... Then the last submarine kills you with only one torpedo with full health and armor.... Having not a single checkpoint at this level is so damn frustrating..... Worst mission imo.

Play this level with 'The Spy Who Loved Me' soundtrack, you'll feel the atmospheric groove of being Bond, definitely. On other notes, Mister Graslu00, you did the most noble thing others haven't. Showing the world what a HD remaster of this outstanding game (and the best Bond game, hands down) with enhanced textures and graphics would look like. Magnificent gameplay, as well, sir. Very skillful. On behalf of the Bond video game fans, I do heartily thank you for these all.

Honestly, the mines are the worst part for me, mainly because it's a lot more luck-based with the timing which makes it the most inconsistent. The ending never really gave me problems. I find that taking out the attack sub first BEFORE planting any mines removes the added stress of a time limit. By slowly approaching the attack sub beneath the third docked sub, you can usually sink it with two well-placed (targeted) regular torpedos. However, be ready to quickly maneuver away after each one to avoid enemy fire (I usually go up and to the right; this increases the chance of the enemy torpedo hitting the docked sub or its platform instead). This is based on my experiences with the PS2 version, though. Other versions may be different. In any case, I agree that it's one of the more merciless missions given the lack of checkpoints.

SPOILER -FiNal Boss Trick - Hide behind 2nd sub dont plant missile on green marker yet. Hide there and shoot remote missiles at sub. Takes 5 direct hits. Do not and i repeat do not waste your time confronting sub head on. You MUST hide and shoot remote missiles. I spent 3 hours figuring that out .... also one hit and your toast.. so be careful and if your hiding spot isnt good enough find a new one, thats the key a great hiding spot to fire remote missikes without him hitting you... good luck.. it can be done but lots of patience required. I almost gave up on tbis gane due to this boss.. glad i didnt but what a pain in the zzz

You can plant the 2 mines of the first two submarines and then before you plant the last one hide behind the third submarine and use the remote torpedos to destroy the boss sub at the end to be able to save health but itll take a hell of a long time to kill the boss sub tho

Man this level was a bitch! Especially battling the sub at the last monument. What I did was used all my remote torpedoes at a distance to that sub. And if they ran out and the sub was not sunk, I just torpedoed all the way. One pair or two did the trick for that. Then afterwards, I then planted the mines so I did not have to worry about time and that's that! Mission complete!

This mission is easy for me on 00 Agent. My technique for the sub before the beach is to fire 5-6 guided torpedoes at it and an unguided one, making sure to dodge the weapons that they’re shooting at me, similar to what the player has demonstrated. I’ve achieved a Platinum once I’ve completed this again. Practice makes perfect ☺️👌👍

+Banana Slayer You can use Jabo's video plugin for better performance, but you will miss some effects. Also lower the resolution.

I don't have the one I used at the time, but now you should just download the latest 5.0 dev build and pretty much use the default settings. Try changing the renderer from DX11 to Vulkan or OpenGL to see what works best on your system and that's it.

This was the mission that made all my issues with this game come to a head. Fuck Nightfire for real. from the spongey enemies, unsatisfying guns, and awful checkpoints. I have no idea how anyone thinks this is better than Agent Under Fire.

I agree on the unsatisfying guns and bad checkpoints specially on the driving levels, but I never felt like enemies were bullet sponges, headshots take care of them rather quickly except for bosses.
