Goldeneye came _first_ and defined its particular genre, though it didn't age terribly well (awkward aiming controls and Oddjob users didn't help with this). Agent Under Fire was a step in the right direction, but it still wasn't quite the experience it could have been (and _should_ have been). Nightfire avoided most of the mistakes that Agent Under Fire made, while being far easier to control than Goldeneye was. Remember the Skyrail map? Best camping map EVER, XD

+Taltharius I personally think Nightfire is better than Goldeneye. Like you mentioned, Goldeneye didn't age well, but this game still stands up even to this day, though it has its flaws. As for the camping part...no thanks due to the grenade launcher emplacements!

This game was my first and I have no regrets, I have fond memories of me and my older brother huddling in front of the Gamecube playing multiplayer. we'd always run for the rocket launcher every time and always played the same 2 maps, Skyrail and Phoenix base. This game will always have a special place in my heart. Not just because it's a good game but it made me and my brother bond and I thank it for that.

I loved Eurocom's Bond game back on the N64, The World Is Not Enough. I could never get GoldenEye out of my head while playing it, but it has some pretty great stuff. Some of the weapons were badass (The sticky grenade, especially), and the multiplayer levels were really awesome. Too bad that the GoldenEye remake and Legends were nothing more than CoD re-skins, but that's what everyone wants today.

I was obsessed with this theme, it's so good. Just a shame that everyone uploads the slightly worse Gamecube version of the theme instead of the PS2 version. When I first heard it again on youtube years ago, everything was fine until 0:36 to 0:59 I thought "Wow, this sounds weird. Wtf happend?" I started my old PS2 and loaded the game and indeed, that part was WAY better on the PS2. It looks like they were not entirely happy with it after they released it for Gamecube and changed it for the PS2 release. Even how they mixed that part sounds very out of place and less awesome.

I personally liked the GameCube version more for lots of reasons. #1 the controls r so much better #2 graphics r slightly better(though sound quality was worse) #3 controller was better in general.

That is what I was talking about. This is the only changed track in the PS2 version. The GameCube and Xbox (I believe) both use the full theme which is this. EDIT: Also if you're wondering, the PS2 and GC version were released at the same day. Which is November 18th.
