The crucible is certainly a unique weapon. The argent powering it is probably more powerful than the regular (obeying the laws of physics) plasma that the Covenant use. I've always wondered how energy blades scale to each other and if one sword could break another's "blade" and cut through it. Would a lightsaber clash with covenant energy sword or would one of them go right through the other? How does the crucible factor in? Those giant sentinel mechs have giant energy blade spears and the slayer can just waltz across the blade like it's any old solid piece of ground.

@@MarioTheLiopleurodon the lightsaber and energy sword are pretty equal since both run off of plasma. The crucible tho runs off of argent energy which surpasses the theoretical limits of heat so it’s definitely the deadliest of the 3.

I agree at least in terms of Looks and Power Based on each one’s lore. However in gameplay I like the Halo Energy Sword a bit more than the DOOM Crucible, particularly the one in Halo 2 because of the fun things you can do with Sword Flying, I wish the Crucible had some form of a movement use like the Sentinel Hammer has, that would make the Crucible a bit cooler beyond just being the enemy deleter. (you can use the Hammer for a triple jump to gain that extra height).

Been hearing some troubling things about another universe centered in the Sol System: Plenty of impressive technology remains after a massive war that completely annihilated the de facto power of the Origin System centuries, or perhaps eve millennia ago. It's difficult to know for certain when since all accounts are apocryphal at best. Still, preliminary observations have yielded impressive troves of information regarding an incredibly versatile combat platform referred to as a Warframe; seemingly able to tap into, and articulate energy from a completely different universe or dimension and manifest it however seems most appropriate or effective for the current circumstances. In time, perhaps a more official exploration of this universe can be performed. Though I dare say the danger involved in doing so may not be worth the risk until appropriate measures are taken.

I would like to think that the Praetor suit does offer protection in the beginning of Doom 2016. If we look at how the Slayer is killed in this medium, it isn’t the armor that breaks, but rather the Slayers body itself. In my mind, the armor is continuously emitting and Argent energy field that protects the Slayer from lethal attacks. While the Slayer is obviously super-human, he is still human. He can still be stabbed, cut, burned, smashed, and ripped apart. Then when energy is located for the ‘armor,’ the suit switches from the field, to the physical armor. Whether this process is to conserve energy, or another purpose is unknown, and everything said is just personal speculation. Thank you for this video. They are always a joy to watch, fascinating to look at the inner workings of these subjects, and very thought provoking. Keep up the good work.

The colour of the oxides on the suit will give you a hint as to what material it is made of. If it is rust then its probably an Iron alloy of some sort.
