Growing up poor, I was never able to get a nice perfume and I really wanted a lot of these so bad. Over the years I have forgotten about them all, but I think now that I'm an adult and can afford them, I should get them. The ones I wanted most were Clinique Happy, Ralph by Ralph Lauren and Light Blue by D&G. :) Great video, Soki!

Same here, grew up poor. I loved Ralph and would save up birthday money to get a bottle which would last me around a year. I'm pretty well off now so can afford any perfume I want, so my collection has varied somewhat, but I still love Ralph by RL

My best friend in high school (Julie) wore Ralph. She passed away a few weeks before I left home for college (2005) and it gutted me. Every time I smell this fragrance, I am transported back to sleepovers and listening to Kenny Chesney and being out on the boat and talking about boys we liked and just all of my “coming of age” memories.

Tommy Girl is still my favorite perfume, even after ALL these years. I could never go without having it in my collection. It's beautiful and easy going... I love it.

Ralph by Ralph Lauren was always one I wanted when I was a kid because it smelled so grown up to me. I'm actually 29 and just bought it lol. It definitely smells like a green apple but reminds me of fresh linen on a summer day. I do one or two spritzes before work, since it just smells clean and inoffensive.

Yes! I wore Tommy Girl, Ralph Ralph Lauren, Polo Sport and D&G Light Blue as I was in college at the time. I also remember wearing Glow by J Lo and Romance Ralph Lauren all the time for night usually. I also wore a lot of Bath and Body Works and Victoria's Secret scents in the 90's and 00's. I still like Pleasures and Romance today and I have worn them since the 90's/00's.

Euphoria is still amazing... and I remember when it dropped in 05. I wanted it right away but lived in a fairly small town so my man at the time and I went all the way to the nearest city big enough to have a department store in it, which was 70+ miles away. But the trip was worth it because we came back with the EDP in tow ❤ ahh good memories.

Cool video! My only thing, I associate Tommy Girl so much with mid to late 90's, I don't remember many wearing it in the 2000's. I'd switch Gucci Rush from the 90's video which I remember being all over the early 2000's with Tommy Girl.

My signature scent for some time during the 00's was Curve (in the blue tin) by Liz Clairborne. Then I couldn't stop wearing Love Spell and Heavenly by Victoria's Secret. Also anything Cucumber Melon scented was my jam during high school!! Good times!!

I’m still drawn to early 2000’s - I swear the more complex ones now days smell *more* similar to each other than unique - it’s like it smells good but how much different is it from these other ones? I remember once like Calvin Klein Obsession, Poison, and Coty Wild Musk being my holy grails in the 80’s, 90’s - too strong for me now, but I still love Midnight Fantasy, etc. I LOVED Victoria’s Secret Pink (just Pink perfume) so much! How do I know if something was reformulated? Because my nose has changed - I loved Tommy Girl but prefer it on my clothes - smells clean and fresh, but more flat and musty on my skin. That’s another thing, Burberry Her Elixir smells so good on paper or in the bottle but like straight up plastic on me. Ones like Alien give me massive headaches and smells like body odor, but simple ones like Salt Air by Skylar smell sooooo good - my daughter said it smells like “me” which is huge, because many fragrances turn her off. I’m 53 and still love gourmands. As far as being for young girl perfume does that mean older women need stronger florals, because every man I know thinks strong florals/rose reminds them of their grandma - just because I’m old enough to be one doesn’t mean I want to be ashamed with one - all the sophisticated ones like YSL Libra give me a headache and I can’t stand not being able to wash something off at the end of the day.
