Dear Prof. Darr, I hope this message finds you well and healthy. I am Yunus, a senior law student from the American University of Afghanistan, living in Kabul. I have been recently acquainted with and your works on Sufism. I am also a passionate student of the school of Sufism. I am especially fond of Rum and have been reading him for two years. I am very happy to be familiarized with you and your speeches. With no doubt, Sufism is one of the greatest schools of thought we have had in the world. And most importantly, the Sufis help us a lot to better understand ourselves, our world, and God. I wish to see you one day and have a friendly chat with you. May Allah bless you for your invaluable contributions to the school of Sufism.

@@robertdarr6788 Dear brother_ in_ faith, Abdul Hay You gladdened me by your response. I have been trying hard to get your book" The Spy of Heart", but I have failed to find it. I have been wondering whether you have sent this book to any publication to Afghanistan, Kabul or not. We really need to read your work not because it is about Afghanistan and Afghans but because you have spoken of your spiritual understanding and memories. I enjoyed listening the paragraphs you read. Also, I have a growing desire to do some translation works. I know a professor of mine names S. Mohammad Mohaqqeq. We both have spoken about you and your work recently. We have decided to translate your work if possible. He is living in Canada and has taught translation studies for years. I am not sure whether you have given your book to any translator or not. But I believe your book must be translated to Persian, especially to the dialect of Afghan Persian and Kabuli Parsee because your book is written in this context of Afghanistan. I am also benefiting a lot from you when you translate Sufis thoughts and ideas into English. This part of your career as a Sufi is interesting to me and teaches me a lot. I have been reading Rumi for a while in Persian, but I have failed to express views of Rumi into English. Fortunately, you have helped me tackle this issue. I hope to have your email and wish to chat more with your if you find me as a competent student of Sufism (سالک). I promise you that I will be helpful to you and your garden of Sufis (خانقا). Warm regards, Yunus ❤🌺
