Thanks for further showcasing this brilliant game. Keep persevering as you have come a little way since your original video.

Thanks, I will do just that. It's fun and different.

Great video! I actually prefer to see people play new games for the first time instead of having everything learned first--we learn by watching you learn. I don't have the game yet (thinking about buying it), but I know I would struggle through the same things, so it really helps to see you work it out. Thanks for doing this.

You definitely need to jack up your scrolling / camera panning speed. For whatever reason the game is set at an extremely low scroll / camera pan speed by default. Also, for some constructive feedback: You're playing far too passively. Most of your units are set to a single Advance command and all at the same point so they are bunching up on the roads, getting in each other's way, etc.. Advance also means they will advance on that point, focusing on movement over shooting. They will still take shots when they can, but they'll often be pretty lousy shots. The Sheridan already has pretty mediocre accuracy with the short barrel cannon, but on the move it's really bad (you can check accuracies and penetration values of weapons by hitting the lowercase "i" in the bottom left corner -- just above the "Air Support" button. I think you can just press the i key too). If you want your units to focus on attacking, you want to use Contact orders, which will have them move until they spot an enemy, stop immediately and engage them (as long as they have an effective weapon, their SOPs are set properly, they have ammo, are reloaded, etc.). A thing with Contact orders is that the order will disappear when the unit makes contact with an enemy, so you'll have to set another Contact order once all nearby enemies are destroyed. I should also add that issuing Contact with an enemy in sight of the selected unit(s) is pointless as they are already in contact, so if you need a unit to move while in combat, you'll want to use Advance, Reverse, Fast, etc. You can also just delete a unit's current orders where they will stop and engage enemies in sight. To delete orders, select the units you want to focus on attacking and press backspace, or you can also open up the command 'wheel' and choose "Delete all WPs". Do keep in mind that units have order delays, and while I think you can turn that off in the options, it's on by default. Order delay meaning that there's a lag between you issuing any command or changes to their SOP and when they follow through with it. It depends on how close a unit is their HQ unit, but the times usually range from 20-30 seconds and sometimes upwards of a few minutes for a unit completely removed from its HQ -- I think they are using smoke signals.. But deleting commands acts instantly, so there's that! Finally, if you want to get more enjoyment out of the game, I'd highly recommend you start using pause when you meet an enemy (I believe spacebar pauses -- but check your hotkeys), zoom out so you can get a better picture of the situation, check enemy positions, analyze terrain and how you might best utilize it, etc.. Then issue orders and finally unpause and zoom in to your heart's content to enjoy the carnage! Anyways, hoping some of this helps you out! I had to learn this game the hard way back with the original game and it definitely has a learning curve, but is great fun once you get the hang of it. PS. You may have not been aware, but you were playing the game on Slow, which is I think half speed! Also sorry for the giant write-up :)

Sorry to hear that - I'm sure it's not perfect but it is pretty fun. Not perfect that's for sure but then what is?

@@TheWargamingGuy You are absolutely right, If one was to dismiss every wargame where there is a blunder in the AI then one would have approximately no wargames. This and its predecessor are both exemplary.
