A well informed therapist is the first step of your treatment. You can also learn many ways to help yourself. Like the grounding technique or mindfulness.
Many sources on the internet or your friends and family might have false information and myths on Trauma Treatment. As we are all very different individuals, healing trauma does not have a secret formula that works for everyone.
