bloc is not needed to learn flame. However, it is a good and common state management system for Flutter. And there is a nice flame_bloc package. So, I will cover bloc setup in the next video. just keep in mind that bloc is a little confusing at first and the main goal of the pinkie series is to learn bloc. just think of it as a challenge for learning. :-)

Do you know why TapDetector is not working (sometime) when I use flutter flame (web) inside another website by , you can reproduce on Android and Chrome

in this particular game, there is a flutter layer and a flame layer. the pointing spot may be on a flutter widget which is overlayed onto the flame layer. one solution is to not use the flutter layer for things that might interfere with the flame tap. for example, you could not use flutter widget buttons and just use flame buttons. there may be other problems with layering flutter over flame. The focus on this tutorial was to learn bloc. I haven't tested the the game play that much. If you're having problems with TapDetector in general and it's unrelated to Flutter widgets, you may want to try the Discord channel for flame. I haven't noticed a general problem with TapDetector. though, there could be one.

@@CraigOda I have identified the error. it came from Flutter. When flutter embeded by , sometime onLongPress is called and never end, it is the cause of the next touch event not working. I tested too manytime with GestureDetector widget
