Sorbet for the Soul is a collaboration between Globular (UK) ( globular) and Radioactive Sandwich (USA) (www.radioactivesandwich.com). This project came about from the desire to combine their amazing talents to create a very special conceptual release. Each artist started with the same set of samples and built their tracks around those sounds. Globular cooked up Lemon, while Radioactive Sandwich provided the tasty Mango. They then traded tracks and reinterpreted the other's original track. Globular created Mamon from Mango, and Radioactive Sandwich created Lengo from Lemon. The end product is a 4 song EP that flows and blends seamlessly, each track containing flavors from the others, much like a tasty summer frozen treat.

Your work is incredibly inspiring as a producer. How long do you think you spent making mixing and mastering a song like this? Everything is so crisp and loud and sits so perfectly in the mix. I'm baffled as to why you don't have more fans.

Hey Nikutai :) thanks! It really depends on a lot of random factors how much time goes into a track. I remember this one being pretty quick to get the main bulk down (maybe a week or so?) But then there would have then been a much longer time tweaking and fiddling all the subtleties.. tracks can take anything from days to years to complete though tbh!

ahahaa I'm not sure the song is 'about' anything in particular! But, the whole release is themed around sorbet (thus the name..). So Lemon is my original track, Mango is Radioactive sandwich's original track, then we remix the tunes and names to make Lengo - their remix of my tune, and Mamon - my remix of their tune.
