I cannot explain my undying love for this show. It physically pains me that hardly anyone has seen it. I can't believe the amount of people that are missing out on its brilliance. I could literally go on forever about how amazing it is. I mean its already stunning just visually and music wise, without even yet considering the amazing characters, relationships, and plot. Like look at the dynamic of Yuki, Tohru, and Kyo. To me it never even felt like a love triangle. She heals them in different ways. She comforts Yuki like a mother and she excepts and love's Kyo and helps him come out of the darkness. It conveys the different types of loves. The show also tackles topical themes such as loss, death, romantic and familial love, stress as well as change. Its just a masterpiece. I cant think of one single fault apart from the fact its so close to ending.

I think it's just not that popular with our generation but it's actually pretty popular with an older generation. I'm pretty sure my older cousins loved fruits basket as much as me and my sister did. The original manga was published in the 90s, so it only makes sense. This is already a rework at this point, and honestly the new anime didn't spark much in me when I compare it to the old one but it grows on you as you keep on watching it.

I searched for this like crazy, and when I found it, listened to it I can't just stop crying and it's the 6-7th time crying like crazy, to the point I will listen to it later at a cheerful state of mind. Its the best animes I have ever watched and I just CAN'T GET OVER IT! I JUST CAN'T! I can watch it over and over again 💜 How Kyoko has such a positive character after she met the teacher, how Honda tohru is the cheerful, warm person, how everyone has their traumas, childhood traumas no one talks about, I feel it Coz I had it, how you treat your child after what you have already gone through, things that you understand only when you become parent, the undying love for your partner that melts my heart, the struggle run did for haru, and Haru's never giving attitude, ayame's love, how little by little you struggle to become the person that makes you forgive people, the strong imprints touhru's mom left in everyones heart after being a single mom, it just warms my heart, the. Best character for me is touhru's mom then tohru 💜 I want to be like touhru's mom, like a warm sunshine kinda person ✨
