I'm facing a dilemma about efficiently importing a large table to a staging server. Imagine a massive fact table with over 3 billion rows, getting updated daily with sales data from multiple branches. The tricky part? Some days, certain branches might be missing, only to reappear the next day with both current and previous sales data. The fact that there's no primary key to work with makes it even more interesting. The closest thing is a date that signifies when a branch's record was updated in the fact table. I'd love to hear your insights on tackling this challenge with an incremental import strategy. Your expertise would mean a lot!
