Nice tutorial. But we have a website hosted in EC2 instance and the images are serving from the s3 bucket if we encrypt all the objects in s3 how ec2 serve the static content?

It is Server Side Encryption(at Rest in S3) - ,ie EC2 will receive the decrypted object

Hi when you decrypt the file. Why dont we enter the key id or alias. How will it know what key to use to decrypt

That metadata is part of the encrypted data, if you are using AWS Managed CMK

Hi Sir , i have question , Can we encrypt a file more than 40 MB (assuming it is a fixed length text file with 5 million records) Scenario : actually , i have been working on AWS Glue and need to Process/load S3 files (including encryption/decryption ) to PostgreSQL and also we need to process these files with initial load and Upsert logic (next set of s3 files with bulk update) , any suggestion / guidance / pointers , how do we implement such use case using AWS glue . so two things required 1) encryption and decryption of s3 files - i assume it is data preparation before setting up aws glue job. 2) Upsert mechanism in AWS glue to load data into postgresql table. thanks in advance Regards, Mangesh
