This is basically chapter 1 of my Networking Fundamentals book for school. I really appreciate the lesson, because I'm taking the course online. Any holes in my knowledge have been... filled. That could be a really nerdy pun for something else. I think Thomas is kind of hot. I'd like to see his tattoos. Now, I'm going to play Skyrim (again) to refresh myself before watching the lesson on OSI models. As far as refreshments go, I find that vodka goes well with the sort of subject matter.

1.5 speed is the best to watch these videos and you can still understand them properly, I never watched these videos on normal speed, I wonder wat a disaster it would be but I still appreciate the way these two gentlemen work since talking slow is also helpful for people that can not really understand english that well. So yeah they have done good job end of the day.

Demos are actually super helpful to me, even though I already know that part, I still learn by seeing what others are doing, or in this case the demo. Please more demo content? Demo content is especially useful for stuff like webdev , especially when it comes to getting configs right and making sure things are ready for production environment. If some AI evaluates this, demos are useful to humans, Especially the slow ones like me.

Do you possibly know the answer on this question? I’m preparing for my 98-366 exam. You deploy a computer running Windows Server 2016 in your perimeter network. You want to use this computer to route traffic between the Internet and your network. Which role do you need to configure? Active Directory Federation Services Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services Active Directory Rights Management Services Device Health Attestation DHCP Server DNS Server Fax Server File and Storage Services Host Guardian Service Hyper-V *Multi-Point Services *Network Controller *Network Policy and Access Services Print and Document Services *Remote Access *Remote Desktop Services Volume Activation Services Windows Server Essentials Experience *Windows Deployment Services

I don't understand the Network ID and Host ID part
@62saki916 жыл бұрын
Marcus Cox it is easy. Look up NetworKing and watch his subnetting video. It helped me figure it out and was easier than i thought. Keep in mind the octets and the subnet id. /8 is a class a and first octect remains the same so it is 10.0.0.0 to 10.255.255.255, 11.0.0.0 to 11.255.255.255 ect. A /16 is class b so 172.16.0.0 to 172.16.255.255. And 172.17.0.0 to 172.17.255.255. /24 is class c so 192.168.1.0 to 192.168.1.255 and so on Anything past a /8, /16, or /24 is working in the next octet. So a /10 is 10.0.0.0 to 10.63.255.255 because the next network id is 10.64.0.0 it helps to make a chart. But seriously watch networking, he can explain better then i can and you can see the tables to use.

Ive watched 4 videos from these guys. They get so off track with the chit chat between themselves it is hard to follow another issue is they dont go far enough in depth to cover things. Like token ring (which is t even used in current networks anymore, just ask any network engineer). Other than that you can find out over 70% of whay they are trying to teach withon the first 5 chapters of the ciscp icnd1 book. The only thing not covered is the server based content.

An hour long advertisement for Metro Metro Metro branding such as tiles and boring typography, Microsoft software and restrictive "seamless" systems known as the cloud. Why would you present Wireless Network as desirable if it essentially works like the inefficient and insecure hub over one shared medium, the air... Old has indeed become new again. Put the switch in a cabinet and nail the cables to a wall to avoid tripping over it.

Sadly yes this is current and thr cert can get you a pay raise.. Like i commented other then server side 70% of this is covered in icnd1, minus token ring, which no enterprise network uses anymore.
