Dear Madam, I need your expert advice, in my study I am trying to investigate relationship between between Food Safety training and knowledge score, in Structural Equation Modelling. Here independent variable is Food Safety training is having 2 groups: Yes and No. And dependent variable Knowledge, is having is lickert scale data. But since there are many statements under knowledge factor and I would like to conduct test on overall knowledge score with food safety training. So my question is do I need to create any single variable by commuting all the statements under knowledge.
