Make that available in different sizes, put it under your monitor. Makes the monitor touchscreen. Sadly, doesnt come for larger sizes :/

any ideas on how i would use it to replace the buttons of a speaker. IE changing the song or volume by moving my finger across a surface in a specific direction

How far away from the bar will it still track? Is there a definite cut off point or does it get a bit sketchy before it stops tracking?
@randomtronic6 жыл бұрын
It's approx 0.75 of the length of the sensor

Couldn't you use it to turn a normal LCD monitor into a touchscreen ?
@randomtronic6 жыл бұрын
You could do that indeed. You need the right size sensor for the monitor size, at that's it. Even the software is ready made!

reminds me of the Wii sensor bar that used infra red

Does look like one indeed. But Wii bar has only 2 IR LEDs inside, nothing else. All the magic happens in the remote.

Not yet, but definitely will. I am just short of time recent weeks and got behind with different projects. I will get to it eventually. I feel bad for this one in particular, because it really has some cool potential. The time will come though!

@@randomtronic I'd love to get it working for a magic mirror on a Pi3. Any tips?
