What are the steps to follow to cure my dog

I was told it just takes time and they will get better on their own (unless the problem is caused by an ear infection or something similar). Could take several weeks for some dogs. I was told it is good to let him walk/stumble around - but keep a very close eye on them that they can't get hurt. They are basically a "drunk toddler" in this state. Hope your dog feels better soon.
