PG, all I want to say is, the reason you don't feel like you carved the lane, is because you ARE the lane. You have motivated and inspired more gamers, more editors, and more film makers than you could probably fathom. All three of you (Pg, Joe, Berlin) have inspired people to not only have passion and motivation in the things we love, all of you have also helped people understand that highs come with lows, and you never really know what a person has going on. You all have made the space and opened it up for even more creation to be made in various different forms. P.S. I'm sorry this long winded, i'm 27 now and I've been watching yall for at least the last 9 years, yall got me through 6 years of the army and 3 years of adjusting to being out the army. Yall are the coolest souls Ive ever had the pleasure of growing up with and amazing role models not only in life, but in the things you find passionate. Hearing PG talk about his mother reminds me so much of my mother. My mother didn’t tell me she loved me until I left for the military. When I asked her if she was proud of me when I graduated highschool she said “why would I congratulate you for something that you’re supposed to do”. Growing up with that cold love messed me up especially when it came to relationships. I thought a lot of the verbal abuse was normal because my mother never showed me that care I sought for. Now we talk often and we both say I love you to each other. I don’t hold any animosity because I know she did love me even though she didn’t say it for a long time.

PG DO NOT LET YOUR MENTAL WIN. Idk anything about content creating, streaming, or anything that comes with it. But one thing that is consistent in everything is mental health. I’m not saying you’re mentally ill or anything like that I just know that feeling, that corner you’re finding yourself in. I was once there and now when I tell people I ruined my own career, they can’t believe it. You can win the battle against yourself. When you do you will find that it is a never ending journey you must conquer it EVERY TIME. You can do it, lean on the bros, lean on the fam. You’re talented as hell man, that’s why we love you bru. This was a great episode PG/Berleezy. Loved the heart to heart and talking about your views on success, being stuck, and making hard calls. IMO when you all do timeless conversations like that you're at your peak, instead of going over news that's weeks old by the time we see it. It's tough to compete with podcasts that report on the daily news on the same day or day after, so if you focus on topics that people are always interested in, you'll be in your own league above them. You don't hear this kinda real discussion on most other podcasts, there's something special here!

PG I’m glad you were able to open up this episode, but just so you know Berlin is right. You see them as peers, but in terms of the mimicking, seeing them in a higher light, etc etc I feel it’s just a tiny lingering of self doubt or comparison to others. Because here’s the thing you PG out of this trio (Berlin, Joe, You) Have always been my favorite. You’ve carved not only a lane, but you’re carving a pathway for another generation. Sophia is another generation. Any crap you do moving forward you did with your accomplishments and your talents. You didn’t have to do what you did. However because you did this you not only have a community that’s grateful for you, grateful to you, and even has become big fans of you. I’ve always found you as my personal favorite because you always felt like a vibe or just were yourself. Around the bros you could be that way, around sophia you can be that way, and even around chat you can sometimes be that way. Even with the whole dad’s point it just seems like every left and right turn just has no good dads anymore. You are an amazing father, an amazing youtuber, you are among the greats of youtube in my eyes and in many others. Don’t ever think you didn’t do something cause you built everything you’ve done BRICK BY BRICK and i’ll be damned if you gone tear yourself down just cause you don’t think you’re doing enough. (Snowfall reference) Obviously shout to Speakeezy podcast for making this great episode and this trio is truly my favorite trio of all time (PG, Berlin, Joe).

😢😢😢 this hurt my heart bro. Pg you’re hilarious bro you are talented and let’s not forget you got some short films with somebros that are hilarious. Berlin whatever plan you believe is gone I respect but know we are always on the lookout for a berleezy video to drop. Y’all I’m 28 and woke up paralyzed at 21 from a stroke. You both and Joe have provided me with many laughs through dark days. Thank you so much and I hope y’all know I will always be a fan ❤💯💯

I’ve been watching you both individually for years and I’ve seen every podcast, but this one made me realized I wasn’t subscribe to The Speakezzy. Thanks 🙏🏾 excited for the new lane chance and content revamp if that’s what you want. You’re maturing in your craft so everything has to respond. Great job Mark. Edit: I would say PG don’t leave us but expressing yourself in every form is the most important thing. No matter where you are you’ll find success bc it’s in you not around you.

You guys nailed me (pause) when it comes to the pro and the con about being someone who wears their heart on their sleeve but lacks discipline and the ability to get things done. HELLOOOOO HERE HERE HERE HERE HI SIR

Great ep fellas. Alot of introspection, and insight into what goes on with you guys in real life, behind the screens. As a fellow 30+, not quite washed gamer, it's good to see. 😂

Honestly I feel pg, I grew up with a not super affectionate family, but myself I’m super affectionate and loving. I found it interesting that the loving person is seen as more likely to procrastinate and not really get stuff done which is true in a sense. On the other hand the hard worker trait that was mentioned I’ve seen them to be more controlling and lack emotional intelligence at times. I try to find the balance between the two for peace, but also to avoid depression. Too much of anything is bad, but also the way you was raised and the traits you’ve made for yourself in order to survive isn’t concrete. Sometimes we have to unlearn we thought was right , we’re are a forever changing species.

I’m glad they made a podcast, this really warms my day with humor, smiles, good vibes and can be serious when it needs to be. I fell off Berlin and the gang for a while but the pod popped up on the timeline and I’ve just been addicted ever since daily. Please keep it up guys I can see this hitting +600 episodes easy.

1:00:20 I think PG feels like a lot has been done already in the industry he’s interested in. *like there’s no room for creativity.* i’ve had that before too, along with all the other things that come with social media and even up to hollywood studios, chasing your passion would feel like a chore. *i think the one of the most important things is, doing it out of your own heart.* You never hear of hit movies or songs being forced out of the artist, the artist chose to make something *they’d* enjoy in the end, they didn’t base it off data or whatever. And i believe you can make it like that, if you doubt just look at the thousands of people that enjoy the stuff you make now! ❤
